المستخلص: تخير قراءة تاريخ النقد الأدبي عن امتلاك شخصيات كثيرة وكبيرة أيضا للحسن النقدي الذي يتجاوز مجرد الملاحظات الانطباعية غير المبررة إلى الممارسة النقدية الحصيفة التي تحلل صيرورة الإبداع عند الكاتب نفسه، وعند كتاب آخرين، وقد حرروا في ذلك أبحاثا حقيقية في علم الجمال وفي الشعرية. تكمن أهمية هذا المقال في الكشف عن الأفكار الفلسفية والمبادئ الجمالية لشخصيات أعمال "جيمس جويس، بوصفها مراحل تطوّر المسار الجمالي والفني للكاتب الإيرلندي، تماما مثلما هي تمظهرات للتأثيرات الفنية والجمالية والدينية، التي تعرض لها الكاتب عبر سيرورة مساره الإبداعي، ويحاول الإجابة على إشكالية محددة قوامها طبيعة المؤثرات التي ساهمت في تشكيل المسار الجمالي لـ"جيمس جويس" وميلاد الأثر المفتوح عنده. ويرصد المقال في نهايته نتائج المؤثرات الداخلية والخارجية التي أفرزتها تلك المؤثرات والتي تتوزعها سيرورة المسيرة التعليمية للكاتب وأثر المسيحية الكاثوليكية ورمزية البنيات الكبرى ما ساهم في إبداع "العمل المفتوح" بوصفه معادلا للكون. ورغم تعدد تلك المؤثرات وشدة تأثيرها، فقد لاحظ المقال ثبات الكاتب على معظم مبادئه الجمالية التي عرفت عنه في بداية مسيرته الإبداعية.

Reading the history of literary criticism tells about the possession of many and great personalities also for a critical sense that goes beyond mere unjustified impressionistic observations to the prudent critical practice that analyzes the process of creativity in the writer himself, and among other writers, and they have edited real research in aesthetics and poetics. The importance of this article lies in revealing the philosophical ideas and aesthetic principles of the characters of James Joyce’s work, as the stages of the development of the aesthetic and artistic path of the Irish writer, just as they are manifestations of the artistic, aesthetic and religious influences that the writer was exposed to through the process of his creative path, and he tries to answer a specific problem It is based on the nature of the influences that contributed to the formation of the aesthetic path of "James Joyce" and the birth of the open effect for him. At its end, the article reviews the results of the internal and external influences produced by these influences, which are distributed in the process of the writer's educational path, the impact of Catholic Christianity and the symbolism of major structures, which contributed to the creation of "open work" as equivalent to the universe. Despite the multiplicity of these influences and the severity of their impact, the article noted the writer's steadfastness on most of his aesthetic principles that were known about him at the beginning of his creative career.
