|b The earthquakes in Türkiye have led to unquestionably massive loss of wealth. Nevertheless, there are already quite a few financing options awaiting to be exploited during the long reconstruction process. More promising green finance options, micro credits, central bank funding, contingent loans, blockchain-based financing models, ICOs, attracting FDI, public subsidies, debt-based funding, equity-based, and non equity crowdfunding options are opening new horizons to fund the rebuilding efforts. Meanwhile, the ex-ante financing resources could help secure advance funding. However, they have relatively higher opportunity cost, as opposed to the ex-post financing instruments such as debt finance, taxation or other forms of international supports.
