المستخلص: يهدف البحث إلى إبراز جوانب من العناية الفائقة بركني الحج والعمرة (الطواف والسعي)، من خلال إلقاء الضوء على الإدارة التي أنشئت لذلك (إدارة شؤون التطويف)، من خلال التعرف على مهامها وما يناط بها من أعمال، ويبين ذلك مدى اهتمام المملكة وقادتها –رعاهم الله−بالحج والعمرة وما يرتبط بهما من مناسك ليتسنى لقاصدي الحرمين الشريفين تأدية شعائرهما على أحسن وجه. ومن أهم النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث: − توضيح العلاقة بين الطوافة والتطويف ومراحل تطور التطويف. − التطور المستمر والمتسارع للخدمات التي تقدم لقاصدي الحرمين الشريفين؛ من أجل تلبية ما يحتاجونه من إرشاد وخدمات لأداء مناسكهم في أحسن الظروف، ومن أهم ذلك تيسير الطواف والسعي; من أجل ذلك أسست إدارة خاصة بشؤون التطويف داخل المسجد الحرام معنية بشعيرتي الطواف والسعي.

This research aims to highlight aspects of the outstanding care devoted to the performance Tawaaf and Sa‘y – two essential elements of Hajj and ‘Umrah – by shedding light on the GPH department initiated to serve that function: the Department for Affairs of Tatweef (Guidance in Performing Tawaaf and Sa‘y). This research outlines Department’s various functions and tasks, and those clarify the extent of care that the Kingdom and its leadership give to Hajj, ‘Umrah, and all their respective rites of worship, so that worshippers who come to the Two Holy Mosques can perform Hajj and ‘Umrah in the best way. Some of the most important outcomes of this research include: clarifying the relationship between Tawaafah (caring for visitors and worshippers throughout the duration of their stay) and Tatweef (guidance in performing Tawaaf and Sa‘y), as well as as the stages of Tatweef development; and showing the continuous and swift development of services offered to worshippers at the Two Holy Mosques in order to provide them will the direction and amenities they require for optimal performance of their rites of worship. Among the most significant parts of that are Tawaaf and Sa‘y, and this is precisely why a department devoted to affairs of Tatweef was instituted within the Grand Mosque.
