المستخلص: بعد التوسع ضربا من التصرف، وأسلوبا متميزا من أساليب الكلام العربي، وظاهرة راقية من ظواهر العربية تتجلى مظاهرها في أبواب كثيرة من كلام العرب؛ كالحذف والزيادة والإيجاز والاختصار، والتقديم والتأخير والحمل على المعنى؛ ولذا سموا باب التوسع في اللغة وما اندرج تحته من ضروب البلاغة والمجاز بشجاعة العربية لاختصاصها به وركوبها إياه على أن لا يخرج عن سنن العربية ونظامها. وتكمن أهمية هذا الموضوع في وجود هذه الظاهرة بكثرة في كلام العرب، ولذا فدراسة أسبابها تؤكد التناغم بين النص والقاعدة وأنه لا تعارض حقيقيا بين النص والقاعدة، وإنما مرونة العربية وشجاعتها واتساعها، وقد تعرض البحث لتعريف التوسع؛ مدللا بالأمثلة على كثرة وجود هذه الظاهرة في اللغة العربية، مبينا لأهم الأسباب التي كانت وراء هذه الظاهرة؛ كالتأويل بالحمل على المعنى، والتأويل بالتضمين، والتأويل بالتقدير، والتأويل بالحذف والزيادة، والتأويل بالتقديم والتأخير. إضافة إلى بعض الأسباب التي تعود لمتطلبات النص كالعدول عن الأصل بقرينة لفظية، وخروج التابع إلى باب آخر، والسياق، والمصطلحات، وتناقض النحوي مع نفسه، والوهم، والقراءات، واشتباه المعنى على المعرب، وغير ذلك من الأسباب لتي لا يسعنا المجال للحديث عنها هنا، ومثلت هذه الأسباب جانبا مهما في بيان قدرة النحو والعربية على المرونة واستيعاب كل جديد، ودحض الدعوات الزاعمة لجمود النحو.

Expansion is a form of act, a distinct style of Arabic speech methods, and a refined phenomenon of Arabic Language phenomena, whose manifestations are manifested in many chapters of Arab speech; such as omission, addition, briefing, synopsizing, anastrophe and depending on the meaning; so they called the "expansion" chapter of the language and what was included under it of eloquence and metaphor for the courage of Arabic language because due to its specialism to it and its mastery of it as such style can't be separated from the norms and rules of the Arabic language. The importance of this subject lies in the presence of such phenomenon in abundant way in the Arabs' speech. Therefore, the study of its causes confirms the harmony between the text and the rule and that there is no real conflict between the text and the rule, but rather the flexibility, courage and expansion of the Arabic Language. The research presented a definition of expansion; to be evidenced by examples of the large presence of this phenomenon in the Arabic language, indicating the most important reasons behind this phenomenon; such as interpretation by depending on meaning, exposition through implication, exegesis by estimation, explanation through deletion and addition, and illustration by anastrophe. In addition to some reasons related to the requirements of the text: such as deviating from the original with a verbal evidence, the diversion of the follower to another chapter, the context, the terms, the grammatical contradiction with itself, the illusion, the readings and the ambiguity of the meaning to the interpreter. Other than reasons that we cannot talk about here, and these reasons represented an important aspect in explaining the ability of grammar and Arabic language to have flexibility and absorption for everything new, and to refute the alleged calls for the rigidity of grammar.
