المستخلص: تناولنا في هذا البحث موقف الفيلسوف وليام لين كريج من مفهوم الشر، حيث يرى كريج أن معضلة الشر تعد من أكبر العقبات التي تقف أمام الإيمان بوجود الله. فقد حاول من خلال فلسفته الرد على المشككين في وجود الله وذلك من خلال الرد على العديد من المفاهيم الفلسفية التي يتناولها الملحدون لتقوية مذهبهم في إنكار وجود الله وخاصة فيما يتعلق بمشكلة الشر، ولذلك وضع كريج منهجا تحليلا للتمييز بين أقسام الشر، وهذا التمييز سوف يتيح له أن يعد ردا واضحا وصريحا ضد الملاحدة لإمكانية تواجد كل من الله والشر معا، لذلك قسم كريج الشر إلى أولا: مشكلة فكريه وتنقسم إلى مشكلتين، مشكلة داخلية ومشكلة خارجية، وانقسمت المشكلة الداخلية إلى نظرتين وهما أ- نظرة منطقية للشر: تمثل الشكل التقليدي للاعتراض الإلحادي لمشكلة الشر عموما منذ أبيقور، والتي تقر بأن وجود الشر في العالم يتنافى مع وجود الله ب نظرة احتمالية للشر فهي تتمركز في التعارض بين وجود الله ووجود الشر، فيرى الملحدون أن تواجد الله مع الشر ممكن منطقيا ولكنه أمر غير محتمل. وقد استخدمت في البحث المنهج التحليلي النقدي.

Through this research the researcher had introduced the opinion of William Lean Kreig about the concept of evil for he consider the dilemma of evil as the largest obstruction against the faith is the existence of the lord for he had tried to reply on the suspicion in the existence of God and through the response upon many philosophical concepts from atheists in the denial in the existence of God particularly about the problem of evil everywhere as Kreig has suggested the analytical method to discriminate between the forms of evil and which is a convincing reply against atheist about the existence of God and evil all together and in the first place he had lade the intellectual issue which is divided into subsidiary issues the first is about the logic existence of evil and which is about the traditional form to object the reply of atheist against the existence of evil which is not deny the existence of God. The view about the possibility of evil and which is centered between the existence of the Lord and the existence of evil due to the evil comes from human beings and that goodness come from God however the atheist consider that there is no logic in the existence of God and evil in the same time and which is not improbably this research has adopted the analytical method.
