المستخلص: تعد التربية في جوهرها عملية قيمية؛ تسعى في أسمى أهدافها إلى تعزيز القيم لدى المتعلمين، وللقيم دور أساسي في حياة الأفراد والجماعات والمجتمعات، فالقيم تحدد الفلسفات والأهداف والعمليات التربوية، وتحكم مؤسسات التربية ومناهجها؛ لذا على التربية أن تسعى إلى إعداد متعلم يمتلك القيم التي تجعله مواطنا متفتح الذهن، ويعتز بوطنه، بما يؤدي إلى تكوين شخصية تعي الصالح العام، وتدرك واجباتها وحقوقها. وقد أكدت رؤية المملكة 2030 على الدور الكبير للجامعات السعودية في تأهيل الكوادر البشرية تأهيلا نوعيا، يتناسب مع احتياجات المرحلة المقبلة، بحيث تلبي متطلبات التنمية. والفرد الذي تتجسد لديه قيم المواطنة والانتماء يستشعر مسؤولياته لبذل أقصى الجهود لتنمية مجتمعه ومواجهة مشكلاته، وعليه، يسعى البحث الحالي إلى الوقوف على واقع قيم المواطنة والانتماء لدى طلاب جامعة الملك عبد العزيز؛ إيمانا بالدور الرائد للجامعات في تعزيز قيم المواطنة لدى طلابها. ويعتمد البحث الحالي على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، باستخدام استبانة المواطنة والانتماء؛ بهدف التعرف على واقع قيم المواطنة والانتماء لدى طلاب جامعة الملك عبد العزيز ودور الجامعة في تعزيزها. وكان من أبرز نتائج البحث: أن غالبية طلاب جامعة الملك عبد العزيز يمارسون المواطنة بدرجة كبيرة، وأن أهم أبعاد قيم المواطنة التي يمارسها الطلاب تمثلت في: إتقان العمل، وترشيد الاستهلاك، والاعتزاز بالهوية العربية والإسلامية، والاصطفاف خلف القيادة السياسية، كما أوضحت النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائيا، فيما يتعلق بتوفر قيم المواطنة لدى طلاب جامعة الملك عبد العزيز، تعزى لمتغير الجنس، لصالح الإناث مقابل الذكور، ولمتغير التخصص، لصالح التخصصات الأدبية مقابل التخصصات العلمية، بينما لا توجد فروق إحصائية تعزى للمستوى الدراسي، وفي ضوء النتائج قدم البحث مجموعة من التوصيات لتعزيز قيم المواطنة لدى الطلاب.

Education is, in essence, a value process. In its highest goals, it seeks to promote values among learners, and values have afundamental role in the lives of individuals, groups, and societies. Values define educational philosophies, goals, and processes, and govern education institutions and their curricula; Therefore, education should strive to prepare a learner who possesses the values that make him an open-minded citizen, and he is proud of his country, which leads to the formation of a personality that is aware of the public interest and aware of its duties and rights. The Kingdom's Vision 2030 emphasized the great role of Saudi universities in qualifying human cadres with a high qualification, commensurate with the needs of the next stage, so as to meet the requirements of development. The individual who embodies the values of citizenship and belonging feels his responsibilities to make every effort to develop his society and face its problems, therefore, the current research seeks to identify the reality of the values of citizenship and belonging among the students of King Abdulaziz University. Believing in the pioneering role of universities in promoting the values of citizenship among their students. The current research relies on the descriptive analytical approach, using the questionnaire of citizenship and belonging with the aim of identifying the reality of the values of citizenship and belonging among students of King Abdulaziz University and the role of the university in promoting them. One of the most prominent results of the research was that the majority of students at King Abdul Aziz University practice citizenship to a large extent, and that the most important dimensions of the values of citizenship practiced by students were: mastery of work, rationalization of consumption, pride in Arab and Islamic identity, and alignment behind the political leadership. The results also showed that there are statistically significant differences, with regard to the availability of citizenship values among King Abdulaziz University students, due to the gender variable, in favor of females versus males, and to the specialization variable, in favor of literary majors versus scientific majors, while there are no statistical differences attributed to the academic level, and in light of the results, the research presented a set of recommendations to enhance the students' values of citizenship.
