المستخلص: تعرض هذا الدراسة أحد التقاليد المتبعة أثناء المهرجانات العثمانية المتعلقة بالختان والزفاف وأهمها وأبرزها وهو نخل، الذي أولته الدولة العثمانية اهتماما كبيرا في المهرجانات، وهو يأخذ شكل هيكل كبير مزين بالفواكه والأزهار، وأحيانا الأحجار الكريمة، والذهب والفضة، ويُحضر نخل في مهرجان الختان عائلة الطفل الذي سيتم ختانه، لكن في الزفاف يُحضّره أهل العروس، ويتم إحضاره بموكب عظيم في الشوارع وحتى المكان الذي سيقام فيه المهرجان، ولم يقتصر ظهور نخل في تركيا على المهرجانات الخاصة بالبلاط العثماني فقط، بل ظهر أيضا في الاحتفالات الشعبية، وتبرز أهمية دراسة نخل في تمثيله للعادات والتقاليد التي اتبعها العثمانيون في احتفالاتهم بالختان والزفاف مما يجعل هذه الدراسة نموذجا جيدا لدراسة المهرجانات العثمانية الخاصة بالختان والزفاف. وتشمل محاور الدراسة التركيز على: مفهوم نخل لغة واصطلاحا، والإشارة إلى الدلالات الرمزية لنخل وأسباب وجوده في مهرجانات الختان والزفاف، وكذلك أيضا الإشارة إلى الحرفيين المشاركين في إعداد وتجهيز نخل، وكيفية صناعة نخل وأشكاله وأحجامه، ثم وصف نماذج من تصاوير نخل في الاحتفالات العثمانية للختان والزفاف. تنتهي الدراسة بالخاتمة التي تشمل نتائج الدراسة، وملحق الأشكال واللوحات.

This Research presents one of the most important and prominent traditions during the ottoman festivals related to circumcision and wedding which is called Nahil, which the Ottoman paid great attention to in the Festivals, It takes the form of a large Structure decorated with fruits and flowers, sometimes precious stones, gold, and silver, The Nahil is prepared in the circumcision festival by the family of the child who will be circumcised, but while the wedding the bride's family prepares it, and it is brought with a great procession in the Streets to the place where the festival will be held. The appearance of the Nahil in turkey was not restricted to the festivals of the ottoman court only, but also appeared in the popular celebrations, the importance of studying Nahil is its representation of the Traditions followed by the Ottomans in their celebrations of Circumcision and Wedding, making this study a good model for studying ottoman Festivals. The axes of the study include focusing on: Nahil concept linguistically and idiomatically, the symbolic connotations and the reasons for the appearance of Nahil in the circumcision and weddings festivals, as well as the craftsmen involved in preparing it and how it is made, its shapes and sizes, and describe samples of painting of Nahil in the ottoman celebrations of Circumcision and Wedding. The study ends with the conclusion that includes the results of study, and the appendix of the forms and paintings.
