استهدفت الدراسة تحديد استخدامات أعضاء هيئة التدريس للتكنولوجيا الرقمية واتجاهاتهم نحو التعليم الإلكتروني بكليات وأقسام الإعلام الحكومية، مع دراسة مدى تطابق رؤى أعضاء هيئة التدريس مع رؤى القائمين على تطوير التعليم بالمجلس الأعلى للجامعات لقياس الفجوة بين السياسات الموضوعة والسياسات المنفذة. وكان أهم ما توصلت إليه الدراسة هناك تباين في مدى استخدام التكنولوجيا الرقمية في مجال التعليم بين أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالجامعات الحكومية المصرية. وجود خلط لدى بعض أعضاء هيئة التدريس في فهم معنى التعلم الإلكتروني لكي يكون التعليم الإلكتروني فعال وذا مغزى لابد من تطوير المحتوى العلمي للمقررات الدراسية بما يتلاءم مع التكنولوجيا الرقمية، وتطوير طرق عرض المحتوى التعليمي وطرق التدريس. هناك تباين في شدة الاستخدام والأنماط السلوكية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس بكليات وأقسام الإعلام الحكومية التعلم الذاتي كان له الجانب الأكبر في إكساب النسبة الأكبر من أعضاء هيئة التدريس لمهارات التعامل مع التطبيقات التكنولوجية في مجال التعليم. متغير العمر ليس له علاقة مباشرة بتبني التكنولوجيا الرقمية، ولكن متغير مدى التعامل مع التكنولوجيا والاستعداد والتقبل لها بشكل عام هو الذي كان له علاقة مباشرة بتبني عضو هيئة التدريس التكنولوجيا الرقمية في العملية التعليمية فكل من كان له تعامل مسبق مع التكنولوجية الرقمية كان متفاعل جيد مع التكنولوجية الرقمية في مجال التعليم دون تأثير من متغير العمر. انعدام الثقة بالتكنولوجيا الرقمية لدى بعض أعضاء هيئة التدريس. رات معظم عينة الدراسة أننا نسير دون رؤية استراتيجية وطنية واضحة تتسق فيها سياسات مطوري التعليم مع ممارسات أعضاء هيئة التدريس. بينما يرى القائمين على التطوير على أن كل ما تم استخدامه في الفترات السابقة كان عبارة عن حلول للخروج من أزمة كورونا فقط، ولكن يتم التنسيق للفترة المقبلة لاستخدام التكنولوجيا الرقمية التعليمية بشكل أفضل مما كان عليه. ثقة عضو هيئة التدريس وتوفير التدريب المناسب من المحددات الرئيسية في استيعاب التكنولوجيا الرقمية.
The study aimed to determine the faculty members' uses of digital technology and their attitudes towards e-learning in government media colleges and departments, with a study of the extent to which the faculty members' visions match the visions of those responsible for developing education at the Supreme Council of Universities to measure the gap between the established policies and the implemented policies.
