المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على العلاقة بين الألكسيثيميا والتعلق بالأقران لدى طالبات جامعة حفر الباطن، وتكونت العينة من (٢٦٦) طالبة من طالبات كلية الآداب بجامعة حفر الباطن تم اختيارهن بطريقة العينة الميسرة، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة: تم استخدام مقياس الألكسيثيميا، ومقياس التعلق بالأقران. أظهرت النتائج أن مستوى الألكسيثيميا كان مرتفعا، حيث جاء في المرتبة الأولى مجال التفكير الموجه خارجيا بمتوسط (٣,٥٧) بدرجة مرتفعة، يليه مجال صعوبة وصف المشاعر بمتوسط (۳,۳۹) بدرجة متوسطة، وفي الترتيب الثالث والأخير مجال صعوبة التعرف على المشاعر بمتوسط (٣,٣٤) بدرجة متوسطة، كما أظهرت النتائج أن هناك مستوى مرتفعا للتعلق بالأقران لدى عينة الدراسة بمتوسط (۳۱۸۱)، وكشفت الدراسة عن وجود علاقة إيجابية بين التعلق بالأقران ومجال صعوبة التعرف على المشاعر ومجال التفكير الموجه خارجيا والدرجة الكلية المقياس الألكسيثيميا، بينما لم يظهر وجود علاقة بين بعد صعوبة وصف المشاعر والدرجة الكلية المقياس التعلق بالأقران.

The current study aimed to identify the impact of alexithymia on peer attachment among female students at the University of Hafr Al-Batin using the relational approach and the comparative approach. The sample of the study consisted of (266) female students from the University of Hafr Al-Batin from various levels and specializations, they were selected using the s available sample method, and to achieve the objectives of the study, two scales were used, one of them is attachment to peers and the other is the alexithymia scale, The results showed that the level of alexithymia among the study sample was high, and the field of externally oriented thinking came in the first place with an average of (3.57), followed by the field of difficulty in describing feelings with an average of (3.39), and in the third and last place the field of difficulty in recognizing feelings with an average of (3.34) as moderately, level too. The results also showed that there was a high level of attachment to peers among the study sample with an average of (3.81). A positive relationship was found between attachment to peers and the field of difficulty in recognizing feelings and the field of externally directed thinking according to the alexithymia scale in the study sample. The study recommended the need for social and counseling institutions to prepare counseling and educational programs for university students to address the causes that lead to alexithymia, in addition to conducting more studies on alexithymia and its relationship to other variables (such as academic achievement and family status).
