520 |b This article has the objective of analyzing the financial situation of local authorities by local decision-makers. In our case, we called on 12 municipalities in the wilaya of Bejaia. The main results show that this management technique is limited in meeting the multiple challenges that local authorities are facing. These limits are linked to the various institutional, financial, technical constraints, etc.  |d Le présent article vise un objectif qui consiste à analyser la situation financière des collectivités locales par les décideurs locaux. Dans notre cas, nous avons fait appel à 12 communes de la wilaya de Bejaia. Les principaux résultats font ressortir que cette technique de gestion, s’avère limitée pour relever les multiples défis auxquels les collectivités territoriales sont confrontées. Ces limites sont liées aux différentes contraintes institutionnelles, financière, technique, …etc.
