هذا البحث يتحدث عن عدو أزلي قديم موغل في القدم، عدو متفرغ متربص للإنسان، عدو لا يعرف اليأس إلى درجة أنه حتى في اللحظات الأخيرة من حياة الإنسان لا يكف عن إغوائه محاولا إخراجه من الدنيا على غير التوحيد، وقد حاولت في هذا البحث الإشارة إلى معرفة هذا العدو وأساليبه في الغواية والإضلال، وبيان ألاعيبه وتلبيساته، ووساوسه وأثرها على الإنسان. وقد تضمن هذا البحث خصائص هذا العدو، أساليبه، مداخله وحيله، ومكائده، وأسلحته، كما أشرت إلى بعض الأمور التي تعين الإنسان على النجاة من حيله ومكره، وخدعه، وذكرت بعضا من الأسباب التي يستطيع الإنسان من خلالها والاعتصام بها أن ينجوا من كيده سائلا الله سبحانه وتعالى أن يعيننا على أنفسنا ويصرف عنا كيد الشيطان إنه على ذلك لقدير.
