المستخلص: نتناول في هذا المقال أمثلة عن نخب محلية، ظفرت داخل المقاطعة الإفريقية وخارجها بالعديد من المناصب الحساسة، عسكرية، إدارية، سياسية، حيث اعتمد الاحتلال الروماني منذ دخوله لشمال إفريقيا، على أساليب عدة تنوعت واختلفت باختلاف أباطرتها، وذلك بسن قوانين وإصدار نصوص جعلت منها أساسا للتحكم في الساكنة المحلية وكامل المقاطعة. فقد استندت روما بعد بسط سيطرتها وتوسيع نفوذها في بلاد المغرب القديم، على فئة محلية لتسيير أمورها في المنطقة، بعد رومنة هذه الأخيرة ومنحها امتيازات متعددة وتسهيل سبل الحصول على المواطنة الرومانية، من خلال تقديم تنازلات وربط هذا الارتقاء بالثروة التي كان يملكها كل شخص، والتي تمكنها من الارتقاء الاجتماعي. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى محاولة تسليط الضوء على مصادر ثروة الأرستقراطية المحلية، ولعل أبرزها المورد الاقتصادي، الذي اختلفت فيه طرق الحصول على الثروة، كممارسة الزراعة والتجارة باختلاف مجالاتها، وامتهان مختلف الصناعات الحرفية، لأجل الوصول إلى أعلى المراتب في العالم الروماني، ثم العمل بعد ذلك على تطوير المنطقة، فبرزت نخبة محلية كان لها الفضل الكبير في خدمة إفريقيا والعمل على ازدهارها في كافة المجالات.

In This article, we discuss examples of local elites who won, inside and outside The African province, many sensitive military, administrative and political positions. Since its entry into North Africa, the Roman occupation relied on several methods that varied and differed according to their emperors By enacting laws and issuing texts that make it a basis for controlling the local population and the entire province, Rome, after extending its control and expanding its influence in the ancient Maghreb, relied on a local category to managing its affairs in the region, after Romanizing them and granting it multiple privileges and facilitating the means of obtaining Roman citizenship. By making concessions and linking this upgrading to the wealth that each person had, which enables them to social elevation. This study aims to try shedding light on the wealth sources of local aristocracy. Perhaps it most prominent is the economic resource, in which the methods of obtaining wealth differed, Such as the practice of agriculture and trade in different fields, and the profession of various handicrafts, And the occupation of various crafts in order to reach the highest ranks in the Roman world, A local elite emerged that had great credit for serving Africa and working for its prosperity in all fields. then work on developing the area, It also won many sensitive military, administrative and political positions inside and outside the African province.
