المستخلص: لا ريب أن الإيمان بالغيب هو صفة أهل الإيمان، وقد جاء هذا البحث طارقا لأحد أبواب هذا الأصل، فاعتنى بموضوع غلق أبواب السماء، والآثار المترتبة عليه، وذلك بجمع الآيات والأحاديث التي ارتبطت بهذه القضية، ثم دراسة تلك النصوص على منهاج السلف الصالح في العقيدة، وتناول المسائل العقدية المتعلقة به؛ وذلك لشرف علم العقيدة وعلو منزلته بين العلوم. والبحث في الأصل يهدف إلى بيان عقيدة أهل السنة والجماعة في المسائل المتعلقة بغلق أبواب السماء، وإثراء المكتبة الإسلامية بدراسة مستفيضة في هذا الباب الذي لم يطرق من قبل، وقد توصل البحث إلى تحقيق هذا الهدف عن طريق السير على المنهج الاستقرائي بغرض جمع النصوص الدالة على الموضوع، ثم المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لدراستها وبيان دلالتها ومضامينها. وقد خلص البحث إلى عدد من النتائج، أبرزها ما يلي: 1. أن السماء جرم محسوس وليست فراغا، ولها أبواب كثيرة، تغلق على الحقيقة. 2. أن الأصل في أبواب السماء أنها مغلقة، لا تفتح إلا لسبب مقتض لذلك، إلا باب واحد مفتوح للتوبة. 3. أن النصوص بينت أصنافا من الناس تغلق أبواب السماء دونهم، وهم: الكافر، واللعان، وقاطع الرحم، والوالي المحتجب عن حوائج الناس بلا عذر معتبر.

There is no doubt in the fact that belief in the unseen is one of the great fundamentals of belief, and one of its most significant foundations. Hence, this research work came to discuss of the of the issues related to this fundamental, as it focused on the topic of clossing the gates to the heaven and the implications emanating from it, done through the compilation of the verses and the hadiths related to this issue, followed by studying the texts in according to the methodology of the pious predecessors on the Islamic creed, and the doctrinal issues related to it were also discussed; due to the nobility of the the science of Islamic creed and its great honour among the various fields of knowledge. The research primarily seeks to expanciate on the creed of the people of Sunnah and Jamaa’ah regarding the issues related to closing the gates of the heaven, and enriching the Islamic library with an extensive study on this issue that is yet to be studied. The research reached this aim through the application of the inductive methodology with the aim of collecting the texts that serve the topic, in addtion to the analytical methodology for studying and expantiating on their connotation and meanings. The research conluded on a number of findings, the most significant of which include: 1. That the heaven is a physical body, not a mere space, and it actually has several gates, which are being closed. 2. That the default condition of the gates of the heaven is that thay are closed, and they are only opened for cogent reasons, except for a gate which is always open for repentance. 3. That the texts expanciated the types of people to whom the gates of the heaven would be closed, and they are: the unbelievers, the frequent curser, the one that cuts the family ties, and the public officer that closes his doors from the needs of people unnecessarily.
