هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستوى الفهم القرائي لدى تلاميذ الصفوف العليا للمرحلة الابتدائية (الرابع، الخامس والسادس، والتعرف على مستوى حل المسائل الرياضية اللفظية لدى تلاميذ الصفوف العليا للمرحلة الابتدائية (الرابع، الخامس والسادس)، كما هدفت إلى الكشف عن العلاقة بين مستوى الفهم القرائي وحل المسائل الرياضية اللفظية لدى تلاميذ الصفوف العليا للمرحلة الابتدائية (الرابع، الخامس والسادس)، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدم الباحث: اختبار الفهم القرائي، واختبار حل المسائل اللفظية، طبقت على عينة قوامها (300) طالب من الصف الخامس والسادس من المرحلة الابتدائية بمدرسة (الرويدف الابتدائية- مدرسة ذات الصواري الابتدائية- السيل الصغير الابتدائية). النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة: 1. أظهرت نتائج اختبار مهارات الفهم القرائي أن المتوسط الحسابي لدرجات التلاميذ في الاختبار ككل أكبر من المتوسط الفرضي للاختبار مما يدل على أن التلاميذ ككل ليس لديهم ضعف في امتلاك مهارات الفهم القرائي. 2. أظهرت نتائج اختبار مهارات حل المسألة الرياضية أن المتوسط الحسابي لدرجات التلاميذ في الاختبار ككل أكبر من المتوسط الفرضي للاختبار مما يدل على أن التلاميذ ككل ليس لديهم ضعف في امتلاك مهارات حل المسألة الرياضية. 3. وجود علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين درجات التلاميذ بين درجات الفهم القرائي ودرجاتهم في حل المسائل الرياضية اللفظية في مادة الرياضيات لدى الصفوف العليا للمرحلة الابتدائية. 4. وجود ارتباط طردي بين الفهم القرائي حل المسائل الرياضية اللفظية في مادة الرياضيات.
The study aimed to identify the level of reading comprehension among students of the upper grades of the primary stage (fourth, fifth and sixth), and to identify the level of solving verbal mathematical problems among students of the upper grades of the primary stage (fourth, fifth and sixth). It also aimed to reveal the relationship between the level of reading comprehension and solving verbal mathematical problems among students of the upper grades of the primary stage (fourth, fifth and sixth), and the study used the descriptive analytical approach. And the sixth from the primary stage at (Al-Ruwaidif Primary School- That Al-Sawary Primary School- Al-Sail Al-Saghir Primary School). Findings of the study: 1. The results of the reading comprehension skills test showed that the arithmetic mean of the students' scores in the test as a whole is greater than the hypothetical average of the test, which indicates that the students as a whole do not have a weakness in possessing reading comprehension skills. 2. The results of the mathematical problem-solving skills test showed that the arithmetic mean of the students' scores in the test as a whole is greater than the hypothetical means of the test, which indicates that the students as a whole do not have a weakness in possessing mathematical problem- solving skills. 3. There is a statistically significant relationship between students' scores between reading comprehension scores and their scores in solving verbal mathematical problems in mathematics in the upper grades of the primary stage. 4. There is a direct correlation between reading comprehension and solving verbal mathematical problems in mathematics.
