المستخلص: يدرس هذا المقال طبيعة القمع والكبت في المجتمع، لكن قبل هذا تعرضنا للدراسة التي أجراها فرويد على أصل القمع مركزين على طبيعته التاريخية والاجتماعية ولإبراز ذلك استندنا إلى مختلف النصوص الفرويدية لتوضيح أن التنظيم القمعي يقوم بدور هام في نمو المجتمع وتطوره حسب فرويد يكمن ذلك في تمكن الإنسان من التكيف مع الحياة الاجتماعية، وبالإضافة إلى ذلك فقد تطرق المقال في نهاية إلى أليات القمع الذي يمثل شروط إمكان الحضارة واستمرارها وهذه الآليات ليست ذات طبيعة ايديولوجية فحسب بل هي تنتمي كذلك إلى مجال الحياة النفسية.

This article studies the nature of repression in society, but before that we had to take into account Freud's study of the origins of repression focusing on its historical and social nature. And to do this, we made use of his writings in order to show that organized repression has, according to Freud, an important role in the development and evolution of societies, and this consists in enabling man to cope with his life in society, and towards the end of the article we revealed the mechanisms of repression which represent the possible conditions of civilization and its continuity, and such mechanisms are not of ideological nature only for they are related to psychological life are well.

Cet article étudie la nature de l'oppression et de la répression dans la société. Mais avant cela, nous avons examiné l'étude déjà menée par Freud. Sur l'origine de l'oppression, en se concentrant surtout sur sa natire historique et sociale. Et pour preuve, nous nous sommes bases sur les différents textes Freudiens, pour démontrer qu'un système répressif, contribue d'une manière très importante dans la croissance et le développement d'une société. Offrant ainsi a l'individu une capacité d'adaptation à la vie sociale. En outre, vers la fin de cet article, l'auteur de cet article aborde l'ensemble de mécanismes d'oppression permettant les conditions d'existence et de continuation. Ces mécanismes, selon l'article, ne sont pas uniquement de natures idéologiques mais appartiennent également au domaine de la vie psychologique
