المستخلص: نظرا للدور الكبير الذي تلعبه الجامعات المصرية في المشاركة المجتمعية في تنمية المجتمع المحلي، فلها دور بارز في تنمية وعي الطلاب بالسياحة والتعرف على حضارة أجدادهم والوجهات السياحية الساحرة التي وهب الله مصر بها. كما تلعب الجامعات دورا كبيرا في بناء وعي الطلاب بأهمية الحركة السياحية لمصر. ويجب أن يكون الطلاب على دراية بالتهديدات التي تؤثر سلبا على حركة السياحة وكيفية مواجهتها، وأن يكونوا قادرين على وضع خطط تطويرية لتعزيز حركة السياحة إلى مصر. بينما تلعب الجامعات المصرية بشكل عام دورا كبيرا في المشاركة المجتمعية، يجب أن يكون لجامعة قناة السويس على وجه الخصوص دور في تنمية الوعي السياحي لطلابها. من هنا هدف هذا البحث إلى ضرورة إبراز دور جامعة قناة السويس في العمل على تنمية الوعي السياحي لطلابها، وذلك من خلال وضع تصور مقترح لإبراز هذا الدور، وفي هذا الصدد قام تم استخدام المنهج البحثي المختلط Mixed Methods Methodology، حيث تم إعداد وتوزيع استبانات على عينة من طلاب جامعة قناة السويس للتعرف على واقع دور جامعة قناة السويس في تنمية الوعي السياحي لدى طلابها لمعرفة آرائهم ووجهات نظرهم من أجل الوقوف على كيفية تنمية الوعي السياحي لديهم وهذا ينعكس على تنشيط الحركة السياحية الوافدة إلى مصر كأداة لجمع البيانات الأولية هذا بالإضافة إلى الاطلاع على العديد من الدراسات السابقة من أبحاث ومقالات والعديد من المراجع العلمية كأداة لجمع البيانات الثانوية. وكان من أهم النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث أن هناك افتقارا كبيرا لدور أعضاء هيئة التدريس في العمل على تنمية الوعي السياحي لدى طلاب جامعة قناة السويس؛ حيث وجدنا أن دور أعضاء هيئة التدريس متحقق، ولكن بدرجة ضعيفة جدا، هذا بجانب الافتقار إلى بعض المقررات الثقافية التي تسهم في إبراز أهمية السياحة للمجتمع، وتنمي السلوكيات الإيجابية نحو التعامل مع السائحين بالإضافة إلى ضعف دور الأنشطة الطلابية في تنمية الوعي السياحي لدى طلاب الجامعة. أما عن أهم توصيات البحث فقد توصل البحث إلى أنه يجب على أعضاء هيئة التدريس العمل على تعميق المفاهيم السياحية الإيجابية في نفوس طلابهم مثل احترام السائحين وحسن ضيافتهم، وتدريبهم على مهارات التعامل المثالي مع السائحين، والاهتمام بإدخال مادة التربية السياحية ضمن المناهج التدريسية في مختلف مراحل الفرق الدراسية بالجامعة، بالإضافة إلى الاهتمام بالأنشطة والرحلات لأنها من أهم الوسائل المباشرة لإعطاء خبرة مباشرة وحية تسهم في تحقيق الأهداف المنشودة، يضاف إلى ذلك ما يترتب عليها من الارتباط بين الطلاب والأماكن السياحية والتاريخية التي يزورونها وبالتالي يمكن أن تسهم الجامعة في تنمية الوعي السياحي لدى الطلاب.

Due to the big role that Egyptian universities play in community participation in developing local community, they have a prominent role in developing students' awareness of tourism and identifying the civilization of their ancestors and the charming tourism destinations with which God gift Egypt. The universities also play a great role in building students' awareness of the importance of tourism movement to Egypt. The students should be aware of the threats that negatively affect tourism movement and how to face them, and to be able to make developing plans to enhance tourism movement to Egypt. While the Egyptian universities in general have a great role in community participation, Suez Canal University in particular should also have a role in developing tourism awareness of its students. Hence, the aim of this research is to highlight the role of Suez Canal University in working to develop tourism awareness for its students, by developing a proposed scenario to highlight this role. From the students of Suez Canal University to get acquainted with the reality of the role of Suez Canal University in the development of tourism awareness among its students to know their opinions and viewpoints in order to determine how to develop their tourism awareness and this is reflected in the revitalization of the incoming tourist movement to Egypt as a tool for collecting primary data, in addition to reviewing many From previous studies from research, articles and many scientific references as a tool for collecting secondary data. One of the most important findings of the research was that there is a significant lack of the role of faculty members in working on developing tourism awareness among students at Suez Canal University; Where we found that the role of faculty members is achieved, but to a very weak degree, in addition to the lack of some cultural courses that contribute to highlighting the importance of tourism to the community, and developing positive behaviors towards dealing with tourists, in addition to the weak role of student activities in developing tourism awareness among university students. As for the most important recommendations of the research, the research concluded that the faculty members should work on deepening the positive tourism concepts in the hearts of their students, such as respecting tourists and their hospitality, training them in the skills of ideal dealing with tourists, and paying attention to the introduction of tourism education within the teaching curricula in the various stages of the teams. The university studies, in addition to paying attention to activities and trips because it is one of the most important direct means to give direct and live experience that contributes to achieving the desired goals, in addition to the consequent link between students and the tourist and historical places they visit and thus the university can contribute to the development of tourism awareness among students.
