المستخلص: تأتي أهمية البحث في التعرف على خصائص الظاهرات الجيومورفولوجية المتواجدة فيما بين منطقة سهل حشيش (جنوب الغردقة) حتى منطقة سومة باي (شمال سفاجا)، والعوامل المؤثرة في نشأتها وتطورها، وكذلك التعرف على الأشكال الجيومورفولوجية الموجودة بها، ومن أهمها الأودية الجافة، والسهل الساحلي وغيرها وعلاقتها بالنشاط السياحي بالمنطقة. وقد توصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها أثر الأخطار الجيومورفولوجية على النشاط السياحي بالمنطقة؛ من أهمها وجود أخطار طبيعية متمثلة في أخطار السيول، وأخطار الشعاب المرجانية، وأخطار التجوية الملحية، وكذلك الأخطار التي تتعلق برواسب البرك الملحية كتربة للبناء وأساس للمباني، وتأتي الدراسة لترصد المناطق التي تأثرت بنشاط الإنسان الذي تسبب في تغيير شكل وطبيعة الساحل مما انعكس على طبيعة ظاهراته الجيومورفولوجية، بسبب تكرار عمليات ردم أجزاء من البحر أمام القرى السياحية؛ وتسبب في تغيير في طبيعة ساحل المنطقة، وتدمير أجزاء من الشعاب المرجانية، وكذا تغير في البيئة الحيوية بالمنطقة نظرا للأثر السلبي للتدخلات البشرية. وقد تم رصد عدد من الأسس الجيومورفولوجية لاختيار مواضع القرى السياحية، طبقا للتأثيرات الإيجابية والسلبية للظاهرات، فكلما توفرت هذه الأسس بموضع معين كان هذا الموضع مناسبا للنشاط السياحي، وقد أظهر البحث كثيرا من الإمكانات التنموية المهمة للمنطقة ومن أهمها التنمية السياحية والتوسع العمراني.

The importance of the research is to identify the characteristics of the geomorphological phenomena that exist between the Sahl Hasheesh area (south of Hurghada) to the Soma Bay area (north of Safaga), and the factors affecting its emergence and development, as well as identifying the geomorphological forms in them, the most important of which are dry valleys, the coastal plain and others. In addition, its relationship to tourism activity in the region. The research has reached a set of results, the most important of which is that there are many applied aspects of geomorphological phenomena in the region, where the tourism activity is affected by a number of geomorphological risks, the most important of which are the presence of natural hazards represented in the dangers of Flash floods, the dangers of coral reefs, the dangers of salt weathering, as well as the dangers related to the sediments of ponds. saline soil as a soil for construction and a foundation for buildings, and the study comes to monitor the areas affected by human activity, which caused a change in the shape and nature of the coast, which was reflected on the nature of its geomorphological phenomena, due to the repeated filling operations of parts of the sea in front of the tourist villages; And it caused a change in the nature of the coast of the region, and the destruction of parts of the coral reefs, as well as a change in the vital environment in the region due to the negative impact of human interventions. A number of geomorphological bases were monitored for selecting the locations of the tourist villages, according to the positive and negative effects of the phenomena.
