المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على الفروق بين عينة من المصريين والكويتيين ممن يسيئون استخدام مادة الهيروين في العوامل الخمسة للشخصية، فضلا عن التعرف على دور كل من مدة التعاطي والعمر في العوامل الخمسة للشخصية، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من مجموعتين، الأولى من المصريين (٢٥) متعاطيا لمادة الهيروين من المصريين، والثانية من الكويتيين بواقع (٢٥) متعاطيا لمادة الهيروين، واستخدمت في هذه الدراسة قائمة العوامل الخمسة الكبرى للشخصية إعداد/ كوستا وماكري (Costa & Mccra 1992) تعريب الأنصاري، وأسفرت نتائج الدراسة عن وجود فروق بين المصريين والكويتيين من ذوي سوء استخدام مادة الهيروين في العوامل الخمسة للشخصية في الأبعاد التالية: العصابية، الانبساطية، الصفاوة، المقبولية الطيبة، والدرجة الكلية لصالح المصريين، كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في كل العوامل الشخصية الكبرى لدى أفراد العينة الذين يسيئون استخدام مادة الهيروين ترجع لمتغير العمر ما عدا بعد الصفاوة، كما جاءت الفروق في العوامل الخمسة للشخصية وفقا لمدة التعاطي غير دالة فيما عدا بعد الصفاوة.

The study aimed to identify the differences between a sample of Egyptians and Kuwaitis who misuse heroin in the five factors of personality, and to identify the differences between the average scores of the five major personality traits of heroin addicts as a result of the difference between the age group and duration of use. The study sample consisted of two groups, the first Of the Egyptians (25) were heroin abusers from the Egyptians, and the second of the Kuwaitis by (25) were heroin abusers, and the list of the five major factors of personality was used in this study prepared by/ Costa & McCrae (Costa & McCrae, 1992), Arabization of Al-Ansari, and the results of the study resulted in There are differences between Egyptians and Kuwaitis who misuse heroin in the five personality factors in the following dimensions: neuroticism, extraversion, purity, good acceptability, and Agreeableness and the total score in favor of the Egyptians. The second was for the Kuwaiti sample, and the results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in all dimensions of the major personal factors among those who abuse their use. Heroin, whether the Egyptian or Kuwaiti sample, is related to the variable of the age stage, except for the dimension of purity. The differences came in favor of the younger age group (from 20-30), and the differences in the five factors of personality according to the duration of use, whether the Egyptian or Kuwaiti sample is not significant, except for the dimension Purity The differences were in favor of the shorter duration of use (5 years or less).
