المستخلص: Determination is one of the most common processes in the Amazigh language. It covers all forms of definitions and manifests itself in several forms: nominal determination, adjectival determination, adverbial determination... Although syntactically, this function is well described and very rarely poses identification problems, it does not is not the case semantically. Indeed, what challenges us here is the existing relationship between syntactic determination and semantic reference. These two referents supposed to be in harmony, manifest themselves, sometimes in opposition. A finding that quite often calls into question the syntactic relationships that are clearly described here. Does the syntactic aspect take precedence over semantics? We will attempt, through several processes, to describe these links and to extract from them principles of analysis which will lead us, in a certain sense, to admit a qualification with two aspects.

La détermination est l’un des procédés le plus répandu en langue Amazighe. Il couvre toutes les formes de définitions et se manifeste sous plusieurs formes: détermination nominale, détermination adjectivale, détermination adverbiale… Bien que sur le plan syntaxique, cette fonction soit bien décrite et ne pose que très rarement des problèmes d’identification, il n’en est pas le cas sur le plan sémantique. En effet, ce qui nous interpelle ici est la relation existante entre la détermination syntaxique et la référence sémantique. Ces deux référents sensés être en harmonie, se manifestent, parfois en opposition. Un constat qui remet assez souvent en cause les relations syntaxiques pourtant ci clairement décrites. L’aspect syntaxique prime-t-il sur la sémantique ? Nous tenterons, à travers plusieurs procédés, de décrire ces liens et d’en extraire des principes d’analyse qui nous amènerai, dans un certain sens, à admettre une qualification à double aspects.
