المستخلص: نقترح في هذا المقال مقاربة جديدة للمساهمة في تصنيف المعالم الجنائزية التي تعد أهم الشواهد المادية لفترة فجر التاريخ، وهي تنتشر بأعداد كبيرة وأنواع مختلفة في منطقة شمال أفريقيا والصحراء، حيث قدم العديد من الباحثين تصنيفات لها محاولين تتبع نشأتها وتطورها، اعتماد على معايير مختلفة أهمها، الشكل المعماري وطريقة توزعها الجغرافي، بالإضافة إلى المعيار الكرونولوجي، وعلى إثر الحفريات الأثرية التي أقمناها على أنواع مختلفة من هذه المعالم في منطقة بسكرة، والتي تمت دراستها بشكل مفصل من الناحية المعمارية، تم التوصل إلى عدة نتائج أهمها استخلاص معيار جديد للتصنيف، والمتعلق بشكل موضع الدفن داخل المعلم الجنائزي، والذي يمكن من خلاله المساهمة بشكل فعال في إثراء التصنيفات السابقة. من خلال شكل موضع الدفن، تم تقسيم المعالم الجنائزية إلى ثلاثة مجموعات كبرى، تندرج تحت كل منها فئتان، كل فئة تحتوي على عدة أنواع تشترك في شكل موضع الدفن، وهذا ما قد يعطي مرونة أكبر للباحثين في دراسة المعالم الجنائزية، خاصة من الناحية المعمارية.

In this article, we propose a new approach to contribute to the classification of protohistoric funerary monuments widespread in Algeria. Many researchers have worked on the idea of classifying funerary monuments, trying to trace their origins and their evolution. For this, several criteria have been adopted, such as: architectural form, mode of geographical distribution and the absolute chronology of these monuments. After conducting archaeological excavations on different types of these monuments in the region of Biskra, we concluded that the shape of the burial place could be a basic criterion for classification, as it is a common element in all the types of monuments. On this basis, we have tried to enrich the previous classifications by dividing these monuments into three groups containing different categories and types, which can give more flexibility to researchers in the study of these monuments, especially on the architectural side.

Nous proposons dans cet article une nouvelle approche pour contribuer à la classification des monuments funéraires protohistoriques répandus en grand nombre en Algérie. De nombreux chercheurs ont présenté des classifications en essayant de retracer l’origine et l’évolution de ces monuments en fonction de différents critères, dont les plus importants est leur forme architecturale et leur mode de répartition géographique et chronologique. Après avoir effectué des fouilles archéologiques sur différents types de ces monuments dans la région de Biskra. Nous avons constaté que la forme de la sépulture située à l'intérieur des monuments pouvait constituer un critère de base pour la classification. Sur cette base, nous avons tenté d'enrichir les classifications précédentes en divisant ces monuments en trois groupes contenant différentes catégories et types. Ce qui peut donner plus de flexibilité aux chercheurs dans l'étude de ces monuments, notamment d'un point de vue architectural.
