|a يعد الأمير المختار عز الملك محمد بن عبيد الله المسبحي علماً من أعلام عصره وفضلاء زمانه، وكان من أقطاب الأمراء ورجال الدولة، وتولى الوزارة للحاكم بأمر الله الفاطمي ونال حظوة لديه. أخذ المسبحي بقسط وافر في مختلف علوم عصره من جغرافيا وفلك وأدب، وشغف بتدوين التاريخ وألف فيه عدة كتب منها تاريخه الكبير المسمى تاريخ مصر والمغرب، مع إن هذا الأثر الضخم لم يصلنا إلا إنه يمكننا القول بأن المقتطفات التي وصلتنا منه عن طريق المؤرخين اللاحقين تدل على قيمة هذا الأثر ونفاسته لاسيما وأنها تلقي الضوء على تاريخ الدولة الفاطمية في عصرها الأول.
|b The prince Al-Mukhtar Ezz El-Malik Muhammad bin ubeid Allah Al-Musbahi is considered one of the allegories and the virtuous characters at his age. He was a pole of princes and the figures of the state he administrated the ministry for Al-Hakim Bi-Amr Allah Al-Fatimy and he got a good value. In addition, he had a good installment of different sciences at his ago like geography, astrology, and literature. He was keen of registration history and published for that many books like that which is called "the history of Egypt and Morocco". Though this great trail did not reach us, but it can be said that the samples which had reached us (from the posteriors annalists) refer to the value of that trail and it's oriental significance especially they shed light upon the history of the Fatimid state at it's first era.
