The study high lights the concept of narration in narrative discourse. The concept of narration has been developed to reflect the world of narrative discourse. The study aims at finding out how the discourse of narration is represented by the novelist and how the stylistic choices contribute in building that narrative world. The study ends up with a number of conclusions and these conclusions are so significant, some of them that the discourse of the novel is split and uses epistemic modal worlds in delivering the narrative discourse. |
