المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى توضيح التشكيلات الإدارية والعمل الوظيفي لمديرية صحة المعارف خلال المدة (1936- 1953) وذلك من خلال التطرق بشكل مفصل إلى الهيكلية الإدارية والوظيفية لهذه المديرية والمؤسسات التي ارتبطت بها في بغداد والألوية العراقية الأخرى، فضلا عن التطرق إلى الخدمات الصحية (الوقائية والعلاجية) التي عملت على تقديمها لطلبة المدارس من جهة ومنتسبي وزارة المعارف كافة من جهة أخرى من الإمراض السارية والمتوطنة التي كانت منتشرة في العراق آنذاك

Since preparing the new youth, educating him, nourishing his perceptions, and teaching him is one of the first goals of the Iraqi Ministry of Education, which was formed in 1921, there is no doubt that preserving the health of that youth and developing his body and powers was at the forefront of those goals and duties, if not the most sacred of them, because there is no doubt that (a sound mind in A healthy body) There is no culture that bears fruit, no education that benefits, and no homeland lives and progresses unless complete health is available for its children and a healthy culture prevails among its students, especially with the spread of diseases and epidemics at the time, and accordingly the Ministry of Education took upon itself the task of achieving those goals through the establishment of a special directorate that cares and deals with the health aspects of its students And its affiliates, and it was established in the middle of 1936, known as (Directorate of Knowledge Health). This research came to address the administrative and functional structure of that directorate since 1936, which is the date of its foundation, until 1953, which is the date of its dissolution from the Health. Ministry of Education and its annexation to the Ministry of Health.
