| 520 | |b In Egypt, this paper investigates, empirically, the long run relationship between trade openness and total factor productivity growth (TFP) to give evidence of the presence of dynamic gains from trade. The manufacturing sector time series data for Egypt are used between 1980 and 2020 to estimate both the Johansen Cointegration test and the Error Correction Model (ECM) applied to study the specified relationship. One of the paper's most significant findings-which provides evidence for the existence of dynamic gains from trade for Egypt is the detection of positive long-run relationship between TFP and trade openness. | ||
