| 520 | |b This paper presents a new generalization of the Alpha-Power Transformation (APT) to obtain a new class of probability distributions, which is particularly beneficial for analyzing of lifetime data. A special sub-model of the proposed family is introduced and discussed. The parameters of the model are estimated using maximum-likelihood estimation. In this regard, simulation studies are performed to investigate the properties of the estimators for the parameters. To include, the application of the model is demonstrated using the real data set. | ||
