المستخلص: This study aims to identify the role of renewable energies in the development of the agricultural sector in Algeria in the light of the different strategies aimed at achieving economic diversification in the country. Based on fossil fuels, Algeria has not changed its export basket for decades, thus remaining a mono-exporter of hydrocarbons and dependent on the price of hydrocarbons on international markets. This situation has forced the return of the debate on “green and sustainable” economic diversification, because Algeria has a large potential in terms of renewable energy sources. In this context, our contribution will focus on determining the different uses of renewable energies in agriculture, thus allowing the development of this sector as a "lever" of economic growth and the achievement of export diversification in a sustainable manner.

Cette étude vise à identifier le rôle des énergies renouvelables dans le développement du secteur agricole en Algérie à la lumière des différentes stratégies visant à réaliser une diversification économique dans le pays. En se basant sur les énergies fossiles, l’Algérie n’a pas évolué son panier d’exportations depuis des décennies, demeurant ainsi mono exportatrice d’hydrocarbures et dépendant aux prix des hydrocarbures dans les marchés internationaux. Cette situation a imposé le retour du débat sur la diversification économique « verte et durable », du fait que l’Algérie possède un large potentiel en matière des sources d’énergies renouvelables. Dans ce contexte, notre contribution portera sur la détermination des différentes utilisations des énergies renouvelables dans l’agriculture permettant ainsi le développement de ce secteur « levier » de la croissance économique et la réalisation de la diversification des exportations de manière durable.
