المستخلص: يعد البحث دراسة بلاغية تطبيقية على جزء من آية، ولكنها في الوقت نفسه تعد ردا على شبهة سائرة بين المشككين في عظمة القرآن الكريم، وقدسيته وحكمته من دون نظر إلى عمق لفظه، وبديع وصفه، وحاجة من يتعامل معه إلى تهيئة خاصة في الكيف والنوع... وهذه الدراسة تقوم على ثلاثة محاور رئيسة: أما المحور الأول فيعنى بدلالة الألفاظ – محل الإشكال– في المعجم العربي؛ حتى يكون الانطلاق معياريا ومبنيا على أصل متعارف إليه في البيئة العربية... وأما المحور الثاني فيدور حول الكناية ودلالتها وعلاقتها بين الحقيقة والمجاز ودعوة القرآن إلى سبر غور الكلمات والاجتهاد في فهم العبارات؛ ذلك من أجل حسن الفهم، فضلا عن بلاغتها وأنواعها وحاجتها إلى أنواع أخر تظهر بالتطبيق... وأما المحور الثالث فيدور حول تحليل الشبهة، وهي قوله – سبحانه-: "الرِّجَالُ قَوَّامُونَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ" (النساء/ 34) بوصفها وجهة كنائية من دون اللجوء إلى الوجهة التعليلية التي أعقبتها والتي ترتبط بتفضيل الله – من دون خوض في جهات التفضيل – والإنفاق الظاهري من دون الباطني؛ إذ القوامة عزم وعلم وقدرة في زواج وغيره، فضلا عن خير وحق وجمال؛ فهو صاحب عقل وعدل وعفة وشجاعة؛ فضلا عن فضيلة وسطيته... ولقد خلص البحث إلى نتائج كثيرة، لعل أهمها منطلق الشبهة وهي أن الرجل لا يعني الذكر أو من يستطيع الزواج، بل من يحمل من الكاملات أعلاها ومن الأخلاق أعظمها؛ فهو ظهير من لا ظهير له، وسند من لا سند له، وعضد من لا عضد له؛ إذ به تقوم وعليه تعتمد ومنه وفيه تشعر بجميل الأثر، ونستأنس في ذلك بقول أحمد شوقي: وكن رجلا إن أتوا بعده يقولون مر وهذا الأثر ومن ثم فالشبهة صادرة عن ضعف أداة وسوء فهم وقلة تدبر...

The research constitutes an applied rhetorical study focused on a specific part of a verse, simultaneously addressing a common suspicion among those who question the greatness, sanctity, and wisdom of the Holy Qur'an without delving into the depth of its language, the elegance of its expression, and the requisite preparation needed by its interpreters. This study is structured around three primary axes: The first axis delves into the semantic analysis of words, the focal point of the issue, using references from the Arabic dictionary to establish a foundational understanding rooted in common principles within the Arab linguistic context. The second axis explores metonymy, its significance, and its role in delineating the relationship between truth and metaphor within the Qur'anic discourse. It emphasizes the Qur’an's call for deep exploration of language and the imperative of striving for nuanced understanding, alongside discussions on its eloquence, varied types, and the necessity of different interpretive approaches. The third axis focuses on analyzing the doubt surrounding the verse, "Men are the maintainers of women" (An-Nisa': 34), interpreting it metaphorically without delving into the subsequent explanatory point related to God's preference and apparent spending, avoiding esoteric interpretations. Maintaining embodies determination, knowledge, and ability in marriage and other aspects, alongside virtues such as goodness, truth, and beauty. A maintainer possesses reason, justice, chastity, and courage, along with the virtue of moderation. The research has yielded several results, with one of the most significant being the understanding that the term "man" in the context does not merely refer to a male or someone eligible for marriage. Instead, it signifies a person characterized by the highest virtues and morals. This individual serves as a pillar for those without support, offering strength and backing where it is needed most. By standing by, relying on, and deriving inspiration from such individuals, one experiences their positive influence. In the words of Ahmed Shawqi: "And be a man if people come after him; they say he passed and this is the effect."
