Studying the Relationship between Endurance and Strength during the Process of Discovering and Selecting Gifted Students in the Sport of Middle-Distance Running

This study attempts to identify whether perseverance and strength are related during the discovery and selection of talented athletes in middle-distance running races. The study relies on the descriptive approach. Researchers chose a sample of 245 students that were chosen by a non-probable sampling method. As for the research tools, we used the Brikci test to measure endurance, the push-ups test to measure the strength of the upper extremities, and the Sargent test to measure the strength of the lower extremities.
