المستخلص: يعد فن الطباعة من أهم وأقدم الفنون، فقد مارسه سكان الكهوف قديما من بصمة كف اليد أو نفث اللون أو الدم بواسطة عود أو عظمة مجوفة فوق كف اليد على جدران الكهوف، ثم مارسه فناني الحضارات القديمة لتسجيل حضاراتهم، ثم سكان الدول الأوروبية بشكل فني ثم العالم كله، ولم يكن كباقي الفنون التشكيلية، لإشباع رغبة الفنان في التعبير عن ما بداخله فقط، أو ممارسة نشاط فقط؛ لكنه كان ملازما للإنسان طوال حياته منذ تحرير شهادة ميلاده حتى شهادة وفاته مرورا بكل نشاطات يومية أثناء رحلته على سطح الأرض، ومع التقدم التكنولوجي، وإطلاق الحرية لخيال الفنان، فقد اقتربت الفنون من بعضها كثيرا فبعض الفنانين يدمجوا بين الرسم والطباعة والنحت. وقد أثبتت الطبعة الفنية جدارتها في الحفاظ على كيانها كطريقة فنية طوال العصور السابقة، وكذلك استطاعت أن تتوافق مع الكثير من التقنيات الحديثة، والاستفادة منها، بالإضافة إلى التجديد المستمر، والتعبير عن كل القضايا العصرية بطرق متطورة، بما لا تؤثر على المعنى العام للطبعة الفنية، وأن تدخل مع الفنون الحديثة وتترك عليها أثرها من خلال استخدام التقنيات الحديثة والمتطورة، فإن فنون الجرافيك بشكل عام والطبعة الفنية بشكل خاص من طرق التعبير دائمة التجدد وصالحة لكل العصور ولكل الفنانين. ومما سبق يتضح أن فن الطباعة استطاع الحفاظ على أصالته، إلى جانب احتوائه لكل جديد من تقنيات كل العصور والاستفادة منها، ففنان الجرافيك إنسان مبتكر، ومثقف، ومطور للتراث، مضيفا إلى ثروات أمته الكثير، لذلك فهو يستطيع أن يقدم في مجال تخصصه التقنيات الجديدة التي تثري مجال الطبعة الفنية، لذلك يقع على عاتقه الكثير من المسؤوليات لرعاية فن الجرافيك بشكل عام وفن الطباعة على وجه الخصوص، والإبداع فيه والحفاظ عليه.

The artistic edition has proven its worth in preserving its existence as an artistic method throughout the previous ages, as well as being able to conform to many modern technologies, and make use of them, in addition to the continuous renewal, and the expression of all modern issues in sophisticated ways, without affecting the general meaning of the artistic edition. And to enter with modern arts and leave their impact on them through the use of modern and advanced technologies, graphic arts in general and the artistic edition in particular are ever renewing methods of expression and are valid for all ages and for all artists. From the above it is clear that the art of printing has been able to preserve its originality, in addition to containing and benefiting from all new technologies of all ages. Enriches the field of artistic printing, so he has a lot of responsibilities to care for, create and preserve graphic art in general and the art of print in particular.
