المستخلص: يعد هذا البحث أحد الدراسات التطبيقية التي لها دور فعال في تحقيق التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية بالإقليم، ويهدف البحث إلى دراسة تقييم كفاءة محطات تقوية الهاتف المحمول في مدينة دمياط الجديدة من خلال تحديد التوزيع الجغرافي لمحطات تقوية الهاتف المحمول بالمدينة، والتعرف على التحليل المكاني لمواقع المحطات مع رصد مجال النفوذ الجغرافي لمحطات التقوية، وكذلك التعرف على خصائص العقارات المقام عليها محطات تقوية الهاتف وخصائص سكانها، إضافة إلى دراسة مستويات الرضا لملاك الهاتف المحمول عن كفاءة شبكة الاتصال، وكفاءة محطات تقوية الهاتف المحمول ومدى أمانها، والتعرف على علاقة كفاءة محطات الهاتف المحمول بكثافة السكان ودراسة توزيع الأمراض المرتبطة بمحطات شبكات الهاتف المحمول بمدينة دمياط الجديدة، وأخيراً خلصت الدراسة إلى أهم النتائج والتوصيات التي من أهمها ضرورة المتابعة من الجهاز القومي للاتصالات عن مدى التزام الشركات بمعايير الأمان المطلوبة بالمحطات وسن القوانين التي تجرم سوء استخدام شبكات تقوية الهاتف المحمول لتقليل أخطارها وضرورة إقامتها بعيداً عن المناطق السكنية.

This research is one of the applied studies that have an effective role in achieving economic and social development in the region. The research aims to study the evaluation of the efficiency of mobile phone relay stations in the city of New Damietta through determining the geographical distribution of mobile phone relay stations in the city and identifying the spatial analysis of the locations of phone base stations. It also monitors the geographical sphere of influence of the relay stations and identifies the properties of the real estate on which the mobile telephone relay stations are built and the characteristics of its residents. Moreover, it studies the levels of satisfaction of mobile phone owners concerning the efficiency of the communication network, the efficiency and safety of mobile phone relay stations. It also identifies the relation between the efficiency of mobile phone stations and population density and studies the distribution of diseases associated with the stations of mobile phone networks in the city of New Damietta. The study concludes with the most important results and recommendations; the most important of which is the necessity of follow-up conducted by the National Telecommunications Regularity Authority to examine the extent to which companies adhere to the safety standards required at the stations and the enactment of laws criminalizing the misuse of mobile phone relay networks to reduce their hazards and the necessity of establishing them away from residential areas.
