المستخلص: سعى البحث إلى الكشف عن تطبيق بعض قرارات مجمع اللغة العربية (اسم الآلة- المصدر الصناعي- المصطلحات العلمية والفنية- ألفاظ الشؤون العامة وألفاظ الحضارة والاعتداد بالسماع من المحدثين) في المادة المعجمية للمعجم الكبير (حرف الصاد أنموذجا)، وإلى أي مدى جاءت المادة المعجمية في المعجم الكبير ترجمة صادقة لهذه القرارات؟، وحاول البحث إظهار قدرة اللغة العربية وأبنيتها الاشتقاقية على استيعاب الثروة اللغوية المتنامية في العصر الحاضر، وبيان إلى أي مدى جاءت مادة المعجم الكبير – (من خلال تطبيق القرارات السابقة) - ملائمة لحاجات الحياة في عصرنا الحاضر؟، وكذلك بيان دور المعجم الكبير في تقليل الفجوة بين العامية والفصحى؛ أو بمعنى أدق: رفع الحرج عما يظن عاميته؛ ومن ثم الكشف عن أهمية قرارات المجمع في تنمية الثروة اللغوية في بنية المعجم العربي المعاصر. وقد اتبع البحث المنهج الوصفي القائم على الاستقراء والتصنيف والاستنباط والتحليل، وقام في سبيل تحقيق ذلك باستقراء حرف الصاد، واستخراج الألفاظ والأساليب والتراكيب المحدثة التي جاءت صدى لتطبيق قرارات المجمع السالفة الذكر في البحث، وصنف أوزان اسم الآلة، وأوضح ما يمكن اقتراحه من قرارات في هذا الشأن، كما صنف المصطلحات العلمية والفنية وفق مجالات العلوم الواردة فيها، وبين بعض القصور الذي شاب صوغ هذه المصطلحات كالتكرار، والإفراط في المصطلحات المتخصصة في مجالها، والإفراط في مادة شرحها... إلخ، كما صنف البحث الألفاظ المحدثة التي جاءت وفق قرارات تسجيل كلمات الشؤون العامة، والسماع من المحدثين، إلى حقول دلالية، وأوضح البحث ما فات المعجم الكبير من صيغ خاصة باسم الآلة، والمصدر الصناعي، والمصطلحات العلمية والفنية، وألفاظ الحضارة، وكلمات الشؤون العامة وألفاظ الحضارة في حرف الصاد من المعجم الكبير. وقد خلص البحث إلى عدد من النتائج، منها: ضرورة إصدار قرارات مجمعية جديدة، من شأنها توسيع قاعدة الوضع اللغوي في معاجم المجمع، وعدم الإفراط في إيراد المصطلحات العلمية الموغلة في تخصص بعينه في معاجم المجمع اللغوية، وترك ذلك للمعجم المختص بهذا العلم... إلخ.

The research sought to reveal the application of some of the decisions of the Academy of the Arabic Language (the name of the machine- the industrial source- the scientific and technical terms- the words of public affairs and the words of civilization and the reliance on hearing from the neolinguists) in the lexical material of Al-Mu'jam Al-Kabir (the letter "Sad"), and to what extent did the lexical material come in Al-Mu'jam Al-Kabir is an honest translation of these decisions, and the research tried to show the ability of the Arabic language and its etymological structures to absorb the growing linguistic wealth in the present era, and to indicate to what extent the material of Al-Mu'jam Al-Kabir came- through the application of the previous decisions- appropriate to the needs of life in our present era? As well as explaining the role of Al-Mu'jam Al-Kabir in reducing the gap between colloquial and standard Arabic, or in a more accurate sense, lifting the embarrassment from what is thought to be colloquial, thus revealing the importance of the Academy's decisions in developing the linguistic wealth in the structure of Al-Mu'jam Al-Arabi El-Moasser. The research followed the descriptive approach based on extrapolation, classification, deduction, and analysis, and in order to achieve this, it extrapolated the letter "Sad" and extracted neologisms, methods, and structures that echoed the application of the aforementioned Academy decisions in the research, classified the weights of the name of the instrument, and explained what can be suggested in terms of decisions in this matter. It also classified scientific and technical terms according to the fields of science contained in them and showed some shortcomings that marred the formulation of these terms, such as repetition, excessive terminology specialized in their field, excessive material to explain them, etc. The research also classified the neologisms that came according to the decisions of registering the words of public affairs and hearing from the speakers into semantic fields, and the research explained what Al-Mu'jam Al-Kabir missed from special formulas in the name of the instrument, the industrial source, scientific and technical terms, the words of civilization, and the words of public affairs and the words of civilization in the letter "Sad" of Al-Mu'jam Al-Kabir. The research concluded a number of results, including the necessity of issuing new conciliar decisions, which would broaden the base of the linguistic situation in the Academy's lexicons, and not over-including scientific terms that are deep in a specific discipline in the Academy's linguistic lexicons and leaving that to the lexicon specialized in this science, etc.
