|a بعيدا عن التفاؤل والتشاؤم، ركزت هذه الدراسة على مبدأ منهجي، وهو أن النظر في الثقافة لا يمكن أن يتم بمعزل عن الأوضاع والظروف التي توجد بها. حيث تبنت التعريف القائل بأن الثقافة هي الطريقة التي يرى بها المجتمع نفسه والعالم. وقد تناول هذا البحث مسألة الشفهية كخاصية تميز الثقافة العربية. والثقافة الشفهية من أهم سماتها اعتماد السماع والتواتر قاعدة ومرجعا لاكتساب المعرفة، وما لهذه الخاصية من تأثيرات في الحياة والعلاقات الاجتماعية. كما ناقش هذا البحث قضية تحديث اللغة وذلك لمحوريتها حيث ينزع كثير من المفكرين إلى اعتبار أن لغة أية جماعة هي ذاتها، وهويتها، وأنها بحاجة إلى تحديث يجعلها قادرة على استيعاب ما تطوره النظم العلمية والتكنولوجية من مصطلحات ورموز واختصارات، مما يسهم في تحديث المجتمع والحياة بصورة عامة. كما تناول هذا البحث دور المثل الأعلى الذي أصبح شخصا وليس فكرة في عملية التنشئة الاجتماعية العربية، بوصفها عملية وثيقة الصلة بمحتوى الثقافة وآلياتها.
|b Without considering optimism or pessimism, this study focuses on the premise that an examination of culture cannot be done without taking into account the overall circumstances in which such culture exists. This study adopts the principle that it is through culture that any society views both itself and the world. This study deals with orality as a distinguishing feature of Arab culture. One of the main aspects of oral culture is it’s reliance on listening and repetition as a basis and reference for knowledge acquisition, and this aspect (listening and repetition) has a great influence on life and social relationships. Moreover, this research study discusses the concept of modernizing language due the pivotal role played by language, which many thinkers tend to regard language as a reflection of the language group concerned and that of its very identity. So, language needs continuous modernization and adaptation to enable it deal with the ever-changing and emerging terminology and symbols in the field of science and technology, which will in turn contribute to the overall modernization of society and life in general. The paper also deals with the position of the “role model”, which has become an individual rather than an idea in Arab social upbringing, which is very closely interconnected with culture and its mechanisms.
