| 520 | |b Both Islamic law and Roman law are ancient legislations that were adopted in many countries as a basis for codification and governance, and work with them spread in many countries, and each law has its origins, principles and writings, but not long ago, some Orientalists appeared who claimed that Roman law had influenced Islamic law differs between the orientalists in this regard, between those who claimed that Islamic law was influenced by some principles of Roman law and those who claimed that Islamic law is nothing but Roman law in an Islamic guise, while some of them denied this claim and admitted that Islamic jurisprudence had nothing to do with Roman law.
