المستخلص: حظيت دلالة المفردات والتراكيب بعناية العلماء اللغويين العرب، فكان من هؤلاء ابن جني بما قدمه من دراسات لغوية ودلالية، وكانت إشكالية هذا البحث: ما هي أوجه الدلالات عند الإمام ابن جني؟ وتتجلى أهمية البحث في كونه يعنى بالدلالة ومباحثها، والوقوف على جهود ابن جني في بيان مفهوم الدلالة من خلال مؤلفاته. اعتمدنا في هذا البحث على المنهج الوصفي، الذي مكننا من بناء تصور شامل حول عناصر الموضوع، كما وظفنا المنهج التحليلي في عرضنا للمادة العلمية ومناقشتها، وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أن مؤلفات ابن جني أسهمت في بيان مختلف أقسام الدلالة وأهميتها، فكان له الفضل في الإشارة إلى ما تعارف عليه المحدثون من أنواع الدلالات، كما أن ابن جني اعتمد في دراسته للدلالة على الشرح والتعريف مستعينا بالشواهد.

The semantics of vocabulary and structures have received the attention of Arab linguists, and among them was Ibn Jinni, with what he presented of linguistic and semantic studies. The problem of this research was: What are the aspects of semantics for Imam Ibn Jinni? The importance of the research is evident in the fact that it is concerned with semantics and its investigations, and standing on the efforts of Ibn Jinni in clarifying the concept of semantics through his writings. This research relied on the descriptive approach, which enabled us to build a comprehensive perception about the elements of the subject, and we also employed the analytical approach in our presentation and discussion of the scientific material. The modernists of the types of indications, just as Ibn Jinni relied in his study to indicate the explanation and definition, using the evidence.

La sémantique du vocabulaire et des structures a retenu l'attention des linguistes arabes, et parmi eux Ibn Jinni, avec ce qu'il a présenté d'études linguistiques et sémantiques. La problématique de cette recherche était: Quels sont les aspects de la sémantique pour l'Imam Ibn Jinni ? L'importance de la recherche est évidente dans le fait qu'elle s'intéresse à la sémantique et à ses investigations, et s'appuie sur les efforts d'Ibn Jinni pour expliquer le concept de sémantique à travers ses écrits. Cette recherche s'est appuyée sur l'approche descriptive, qui nous a permis de construire une perception globale des éléments du sujet, et nous avons également utilisé l'approche analytique dans notre présentation et discussion du matériel scientifique. Ibn Jinni s'est appuyé dans son étude pour indiquer l'explication et la définition, en utilisant les preuves.
