|a هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة أثر تغطية صحيفة الوطن لأزمة كورونا على وعي المواطنين من خلال عمل دراسة مسحية على عينة من طلاب وطالبات جامعة الملك خالد، ومعرفة اطلاع المواطنين على صحيفة الوطن، واطلاعهم أيضا على أخبار ومستجدات أزمة كورونا، واعتمدت الدراسة على منهج المسح، وتمثل مجتمع الدراسة في طلاب وطالبات جامعة الملك خالد، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (126) مفردة، وكانت الاستبانة كأداة دراسة. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها: أن الاتجاه العام لأفراد العينة لأبعاد استبانة أثر تغطية صحيفة الوطن لأزمة كورونا على وعي المواطنين كانت بدرجة موافق في بعد الوعي كأعلى بعد، يليها بعد متابعة تغطية صحيفة الوطن لأزمة كورونا، وباتجاه عام محايد، وأوضحت عدم وجود فروق معنوية دالة إحصائية في جميع متوسطات بعد التقيد بالإجراءات الوقائية، وبعد متابعة تغطية صحيفة الوطن لأزمة كورونا، والدرجة الكلية للاستبانة بين الذكور والإناث، بينما وجدت فروق دالة إحصائياً بينهم في بعد الوعي، وتوصي الدراسة بضرورة زيادة الاهتمام بالأخبار الصحفية لما لها من تأثير وفاعلية في زيادة وعي المواطنين اتجاه الأزمات.
|b This study aimed to find out the impact of Al-Watan newspaper coverage of Corona crisis on citizens' awareness by conducting a survey study on a sample of male and female students at King Khalid University, and to know the citizens' familiarity with Al-Watan newspaper, as well as their knowledge of the news and developments of Corona crisis. The study relied on the survey methodology, and the study population consisted of both male and female students at King Khalid University. The study sample consisted of (126) individuals, and the questionnaire was used as a study tool. The study found a set of results, the most important results are that the general trend of the sample members for the dimensions of the questionnaire of the impact of Al-Watan newspaper's coverage of Corona crisis on citizens' awareness was in agreement with the awareness dimension as the highest dimension, followed by the dimension of following up Al-Watan newspaper's coverage of Corona crisis, and in a general neutral direction, and it indicated that there were no differences. Statistically significant in all averages of the dimension of adherence to preventive measures, and after following up on Al-Watan newspaper's coverage of Corona crisis, and the total score of the questionnaire between males and females, while statistically significant differences were found between them in the awareness dimension. The study recommends the need to increase interest in press news because of its impact and effectiveness in increasing citizens' awareness of crises.
