المستخلص: يهدف البحث إلى دراسة واقع ملاعب الأحياء بالمدينة المنورة والاحتياج الفعلي لها وسبل تطويرها من وجهة نظر المستفيدين. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي بالأسلوب المسحي بهدف وصف طبيعة الظاهرة المدروسة وتحديد درجة وجودها، وذلك لملاءمة المنهج لطبيعة الدراسة. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (127) مستخدماً تم اختيارهم بالطريقة القصدية، وجرى اختيارهم للحصول على عينة بمواصفات وخصائص معينة بحيث يمارسون اللعب أو يستخدمون ملاعب الأحياء. وتم استخدام استمارة استبانة من تصميم الباحث كأداة رئيسة لجمع البيانات والمعلومات التي يمكن من خلالها قياس واقع ملاعب الأحياء في المدينة المنورة من وجهة نظر المستفيدين. وقد أمكن التوصل إلى بعض الاستخلاصات، ومنها مناسبة ملاعب الأحياء من حيث الموقع والمساحة، حيث نجد أن هناك رضاً نسبياً عن مواقع ومساحة ملاعب الأحياء. وأشار المستفيدون إلى عدم جودة المواد المستخدمة في إنشاء ملاعب الأحياء، كما أن الخدمات المقدمة للاستفادة من ملاعب أحياء المدينة متدنية، وخاصة عدم توافر عوامل الأمن والسلامة. كذلك فان الإضاءة الموجودة في الملاعب ليست كافية لممارسة الرياضة في الليل. ويوصي الباحث القائمين على ملاعب الأحياء في المدينة المنورة بضرورة الاهتمام بتوفير الاحتياجات اللازمة للممارسة الرياضية داخل ملاعب الأحياء، ووضع استراتيجية لتطوير وتحسين هذه الملاعب، وتوفير الخدمات التي تساعد على تحقيق انتشار الممارسة الرياضية فيها، وذلك من خلال توفير الأدوات وعوامل الأمن والسلامة والخدمات الخاصة التي تساعد على انتشار الممارسة الرياضية في المجتمع لتحقيق الأهداف الخاصة بإقامة ملاعب الأحياء، وضرورة الاهتمام بمستوى الصيانة المقدمة لهذه الملاعب.

This study aims to identify the reality of neighborhood sports courts in Medina and the actual need for sports facilities and ways to develop them from the point of view of the beneficiaries. The researcher used the descriptive approach using the survey method in order to describe the nature of the phenomenon studied and determine the degree of its existence, because this approach suits the nature of the study. The study sample consisted of (127) users, chosen by the intentional method, to obtain a sample with specific specifications and characteristics so that they practice or use the sports courts of the neighborhoods. A questionnaire form designed by the researcher has been used as the main tool for collecting data and information through which it is possible to measure the reality of neighborhood sports courts in Madina from the point of view of the beneficiaries. It has been possible to reach some conclusions, including the suitability of neighborhood sports courts in terms of location and area. It was found that there is a relative satisfaction with the location and area of neighborhood sports courts, with lack of quality of materials used in the construction of neighborhood sports courts. Further, the services provided to benefit from the sports courts of the neighborhoods are poor, especially in terms of lack of security and safety factors. The lighting in the neighborhood sports courts is not sufficient for practicing sports at night and this does not meet the needs of practitioners of sports activities in Medina neighborhood sports courts. The researcher recommends that officials in charge of neighborhood sports courts need to pay attention to providing the necessary needs for sports practice inside the neighborhood sports courts. Developing a strategy to improve and enhance neighborhood sports courts in Medina, providing services that help achieve the spread of sports practice in neighborhood sports courts, providing appropriate devices and tools, as well as security and safety factors and special services that help in sports practice are also recommended in order to achieve the goals of establishing neighborhood sports courts. In addition, there is a need to pay attention to the level of maintenance provided to the neighborhood sports courts in Medina.
