تحاول هذه الدراسة الإجابة عن السؤال الرئيسي وهو: ما مصدرية اليوم الآخر عند المستشرقين؟، حيث إنه ظهرت شبهات وافتراءات حول مصدرية اليوم الآخر مخالفة لما دل عليه الدليل الشرعي، ويحتاج إلى بيان ذلك، والرد على شبهات المستشرقين وتفنيدها استنادًا إلى الكتاب والسنة، وحصرت ذلك في مستشرقين اثنين «هنري ماسيه وكرا دي فو«، فبينت أقوالهم مستقرئةً ومتتبعة لشبهاتهم، ومنهجي في الدراسة لهذا البحث قائم على منهجين: أولهما: المنهج الاستقرائي الوصفي، وثانيهما: المنهج النقدي، وكانت أهم النتائج المتوصل إليها أن مصدرية اليوم الآخر مأخوذة من القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية، باعتبار الإيمان باليوم الآخر ركنًا من أركان الإيمان، ولا علاقة له بما يعتقده اليهود والنصارى، فديننا كامل ومحفوظ، ولا يتصور أن يأخذ الكامل من الناقص الذي عبثت به يد التحريف الآثمة.
