إذا كانت البحوث في مجال سيكولوجية تعاطي المخدرات قد ركزت اهتمامها علي البناء السيكولوجي لمتعاطي المخدرات؛ فإن هذه الدراسة اهتمت بالكشف عن اتجاهات الشباب وأفكارهم ومعتقداتهم الخاصة نحو التعاطي، سواء ايجابية أو سلبية، وعلي ضوء ذلك نستطيع وضع البرامج الوقائية بهدف تعديل اتجاهات الشباب نحو تعاطي المخدرات. وهدفت الدراسة إلي تعرف الاتجاهات المختلفة للطلبة نحو التعاطي، لذلك تكونت فروض الدراسة مما يأتي: 1. لا يوجد انتشار واسع للمخدرات بين المجتمع الطلابي في جامعة الكويت. 2. لا توجد اتجاهات إيجابية للطلبة نحو تعاطي المخدرات. 3. لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الذكور والإناث من طلبة جامعة الكويت في الاتجاه نحو تعاطي المخدرات. تكونت عينة الدراسة من 946 طالبا وطالبة من طلبة جامعة الكويت منهم 471 طالبا من الطلبة و 475 طالبة، من مختلف الكليات. ولقد استخدمت الباحثة إستبانة الاتجاه نحو تعاطي المخدرات (من إعداد أبي بكر مرسي)، وبينت النتائج أنه لا يوجد انتشار واسع للمخدرات بين طلبة جامعة الكويت؛ إذ ان اتجاهاتهم تميل إلي الاتجاه السلبي، ومعظم أفراد العينة يرفضون الاتجاه نحو تعاطي المخدرات من حيث الابعاد المعرفية، والانفعالية، والبدنية، وكذلك توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا بين الذكور والإناث؛ ففيما يتصل بالاتجاه نحو التعاطي نجد أن متوسط عدد الذكور يفوق متوسط عدد الإناث، كما توجد فروق دالة إحصائيا بين الذكور والإناث من حيث ابعاد هذا الاتجاه؛ إذ نجد أن متوسط عدد الذكور يفوق متوسط عدد الإناث في الأبعاد المعرفية، والانفعالية، والبدنية.
The Recent researches have been interested in investigating the psychology of drug addiction. This study, however, focusses on identifying the youth's tendencies, beliefs and thoughts regarding drug addiction. It also aims at finding out whether the youth's attitudes are positive or negative in this respect. Another aim is setting protective programmers this modify the youth's attitude in order to keep them away from drug addition. The study Hypotheses: -Are the attitudes of the university student supporting or refusing drug addiction?. -Are there any differences between males and females regarding drug addiction?. - Are there any differences between males and females regarding the cultural, susceptible and physical aspects this issue?. To provide answers to the questions above, this study has focussed on a sample of male and female Kuwait university students from different colleges (471 moles 475 females). A questionnaire (Prepared by Abu Bakr Garsy) has been used to investigate various trends regarding drug addiction. The findings of this study prove that most of the students examined by that questionnaire, have negative attitudes regarding drug addiction, on the cultural, susceptible and physical levels. It has also been found that there are statistically indicative differences between males and females in various dimensions; the male's average of taking drugs is laugher than that of the females there are other similar differences between males and females in the cultural, susceptible, and physical dimensions. In this respect the males' average is also higher than that of the females.
