المستخلص: يسعى هذا البحث إلقاء الضوء على التيارات السياسية للخلافة العباسية التي أدت إلى علو مكانة طاهر بن الحسين وسمعته العسكرية. فيطرح هذا السؤال بحسب تحالف جبهة خراسان والمأمون العباسي أن ما هي العلاقات بين المأمون وطاهر وكيف أصبحت هذه العلاقات؟ إن الأحزاب السياسية في خراسان كانت متذمرة من الحكم التعسفي للحكام العباسيين وكانت تحث على تلبية مطالباتها السياسية والاقتصادية. وليستحوذ المأمون على الخلافة فقد أرسل جيش خراسان تحت قيادة طاهر بن الحسين لمواجهة جيوش أخيه الأمين. وقد تمكن جيش طاهر من احتلال بغداد وقتل الأمين. ونتيجة لذلك، قد استلم المأمون مقاليد الحكم وسيطرت جبهة خراسان على الشؤون السياسية والاقتصادية لبلادهم. وأدى هذا الحادث إلى سمعة طاهر وتم اختيار طاهر قائدا للشؤون العسكرية للخلافة وبعد أن أصبح طاهر حاكما على خراسان قد قتل بسبب معارضته للمأمون. ولكن قد استمر تعاون جبهة خراسان ومساندتها للعباسيين. إن منهج البحث في هذا المقال هو المنهج الوصفي التحليلي الذي يعتمد على المكتبة والمصادر التاريخية.

The intended issue of this research is how the opposition of the political circles of the Abbasid caliphate led to the excellence and fame of Tahir Ibn Hossein. This question arises that according to the alliance of the corps of Khorasan and Ma’mun Abbasi, what vicissitudes did the relationship between Ma’mun and Tahir have and where did it end up? The political circles of Khorasan were not satisfied whit the oppressive domination of the appointed Abbasid rulers and were determined to fulfill their political and economic demands. In order to achieve the caliphate, Ma’mun sent the khorasanian army under the command of Tahir Ibn Hossein against the armies of his brother Amin and conquered Baghdad and killed Amin. As a result, both Ma’mun reached the caliphate and corps of Khorasan took control of the political and economic affairs of their land. This incident made Tahir historically famous and Tahir was chosen as the commander of the caliphate’s military affairs. After reaching the government of Khorasan, Tahir was killed due to his opposition to Ma’mun. But the cooperation of corps of Khorasan with Ma’mun continued. This article is a descriptive and analytical type with a library research method and based on historical sources.
