This experiment research focuses on the values shift inside the unified socialist party. We argue that the values shift from socialist norms to liberal norms was due to different circumstances. Among them the powerful political context that pushes the party's elite to change the theoretical background of their own party, by doing so the political values changes too by the time. Our research focuses as well on studying three main generations; the first was the predecessors, those who establish the 23rd march movement and the second generation that comes in the 2000s to establish the unified socialist party. On the other hand, the last generation composes of newcomers; most of them join the party after the 20th February protests. I argue that the first two generations are the most influenced by the changing of values, while the last generation remained rigid toward their socialist values mostly because of their life cycle course. The first two generation values shift was due to the political context in which they were socialized, that means, the collapse of the Soviet Union was a remarkable event that let the elite think much more about their political beliefs. In addition, some political elite flee the country in the late 70s due to the political repression of the political regime, they flee to France and Algeria and Syria, the one who migrates to France would experience François Mitterand term, they were influenced by the France government and they argue they could use liberalism but keeping the socialist values alive in social and economic issues. When these elite came back to Morocco, they would influence their own organization by their new views, and then the shift begins from that turning point. Now the socialist unified party seems more liberal than a socialist party.
