تفسير القرآن الكريم من أجل العلوم وأشرفها وأفضلها، وهو جزء من علوم القرآن التي يحتاجها كل مسلم في إجراء حياته الدينية والدنيوية، وقد صدر أمر من الله سبحانه وتعالى على جميع المسلمين في تدبر القرآن الكريم وذلك في آيات عديدة، وعلى هذا قام عدد كبير من علماء المسلمين قديما وحديثا بكتابة تفاسير كثيرة ومتنوعة لتوضيح وشرح الآيات القرآنية، ومن أمثال أولئك العلماء: ابن كثير، والإمام القرطبي، والإمام الطبري، والشيخ عبد الله بن فودي (رحمه الله تعالى) وغيرهم. يرمي هذا البحث المتواضع إلى تسليط الضوء على منهج الشيخ عبد الله بن فودي (رحمه الله تعالى في تفسير القرآن بالقرآن من كتابه: كفاية ضعفاء السودان في بيان تفسير القرآن"، وسيناقش فيه أمور عدة، منها: مقدمة، وترجمة وجيزة عن حياة الشيخ عبد الله بن فودي (رحمه الله تعالى، ونبذة مختصرة عن كتابه: "كفاية ضعفاء السودان في بيان تفسير القرآن"، وتعريف التفسير بالمأثور وأنواعه، والمقصود بتفسير القرآن بالقرآن وكذا مناهجه وأساليبه العديدة في تفسير القرآن بالقرآن مع سرد نماذج مختلفة من ذلك الكتاب المذكور أعلاه، ثم أخيرا الخاتمة والنتائج والتوصية.
Tafseer (exegesis) is essential for proper understanding of Quran. Without knowledge of Tafseer, Muslims can’t understand the meaning of Quran. Tafseer is meant to explain to mankind the Book that has been revealed to them by Allah. The topic of Tafseer is the most important topic of Qur’an sciences, since in many ways it is the primary goal of “Uloom al-Qur’an” to understand and implement the Qur'an properly. This has also been the first topic of 'Uloom al- Qur’an to have been written on. Learning Qur’an is the expression of Allah Almighty to comprehend it properly, an individual needs to increase their knowledge. They need to open their minds and intellectual ability to gain the absolute truth. This knowledge when accumulated, at that point can the person begin to understand the message of Allah passed on. Also, Almighty Allah command Muslims to always contemplate the Glorious Qur’an (by considering and following of it meanings), that’s why most of the Islamic Scholars (before and now) have written different books of Tafseer, so as to elaborate the full meaning of Qur’an verses to the Muslim community, among the prominent scholars in this area of Qur’an exegesis are: Ibn Katheer, Al-imamu al-Qurtubi, Al-imamu al Tabari, as well as Shaykh Abdullahi bin Foduye and among others. This humble paper tried to study and analyze the methodology of Shaykh Abdullahi bin Foduye in his book: “Kifayatu dufa’is Sudan fi bayani ma’anil Qur’an” The paper discussed several things concerning the life of Shaykh Abdullahi bin Foduye, his works, hiS and his books and contributions in the field of Tafseer and other fields,The researcher finally, concluded the paper by mentioning some results he found during the research, also he recommended and suggested some relevant and important issues for further research(es) (where applicable).
