It has been observed that muslims participation in the sell of drugs, in pharmacies and patent medicine stores is lower than that of non Muslims, in northern Nigeria generally, and in Sokoto metropolis specifically. This humble paper tried to study and analyze the matter by using both observation and interview as methods of data collection. Moreover, the paper discussed several things concerning pharmacy and patent medicine stores from the Islamic perspective and public views, such as legality, origin and importance of the sell of drugs and healthcare in Islam, as well as Muslims participation in the sell of drugs in pharmacies and patent medicine stores in Sokoto metropolis. The researcher finally, recommended and suggested some relevant topics for further research (es) (where applicable), he mentioned those topics in recommendation paragraph (after conclusion). |
