|a ازداد في الآونة الأخيرة التحاق الطلبة ذوي الإعاقة في مؤسسات التعليم العالي فهم مسجلين في العديد من التخصصات المختلفة وربما هذا الازدياد يتطلب مسؤوليات إضافية تقع على عاتق مقدمي الخدمات التعليمية لهذه الفئة. تسعى هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن رغبة الكادر الأكاديمي في جامعة تبوك بتقديم تسهيلات وإجراء تعديلات تناسب الطلاب ذوي الإعاقة الذين يدرسون في جامعة تبوك، وكذلك معرفة فيما إذا كان هنالك فروق بين أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية تبعا لمتغيرات الجنس والتخصص وسنوات الخبرة والعمر. تتبع هذه الدراسة المنهج الكمي في جمع وتحليل البيانات حيث تم تطوير أداه لقياس رغبة المشاركين بتقديم تعديلات تربوية وتم توزيعها على عينة من أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية في جامعة تبوك بعد التحقق من دلالات صدقها وثباتها. بشكل عام أشارت النتائج إلى أن لدى أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية رغبة مرتفعة بتقديم تسهيلات وتعديلات تيسر عملية تعليم الطلاب ذوي الإعاقة وقد اختلفت هذه الرغبة بشكل بسيط تبعا لبعض متغيرات الدراسة. تقدم نتائج هذه الدراسة معلومات قيمة لصناع القرار من أجل تطوير الخدمات التعليمية للطلاب ذوي الإعاقة في مؤسسات التعليم العالي.
|b Recently, the enrolment rate of students with disabilities in higher education has increased and this may require additional responsibilities from services providers in these educational institutions. However, this study seeks to investigate the willingness of academic staff at Tabuk University to accommodate students with disabilities and the differences in this willingness according to the staff’s gender, profession, experiences, and qualification level. This research utilizes quantitative approach to achieve the research purposes. An instrument was developed and administered to collect data from the academic staff Results revealed that academic staff at Tabuk University have high willingness to make educational modifications for students with disabilities and this willingness was varied among the academic staff according to the study variables. This research offers valuable information for decision makers and practitioners to enhance the quality of educational services provided .to students with disabilities in higher education institutions.
