المستخلص: عند تناول أدب العصر الإسلامي بالبحث وتتبع خصائصه وشعره يتبين للباحث أن الكثير من الشعراء والأدباء الذين اختفي أثرهم وطمست أسماؤهم ومعالمهم العظيمة لم يكن لأمر عفوي بل كان بدافع العقيدة والعقيدة المناهضة، وبما أن السلطة الحاكمة على مر العصور هي التي كانت تسير كتاب التاريخ وتوجه مؤلفي كتب طبقات الشعراء والأدباء والفقهاء والعلماء، فقد بذلت الحكومتين الأموية والعباسية قصارى جهدها لإخفاء أسماء أصحاب أمير المؤمنين على بن أبي طالب عليه السلام ومواليه الذين أنشدوا في فضائله ومناقبه من قائمة الشعراء والأدباء، ككردوس بن هاني البكري ومن شعره (رضينا به حيا وميتا)، والحارث بن نظر السهمي ومن شعره (لا تلقيا الليث ثانية)، وعبد الله بن عبد الرحمن ومن شعره (ضيغما في أياطل الحومات)، وقيس بن سعد بن عبادة ومن شعره (جبريل لنا مدد)، وسعيد بن قيس الهمداني ومن شعره (تكفيكها همدانها)، وخزيمة بن ثابت ومن شعره (من عصاه ناكث)، وعبد الرحمن بن حنبل الجمحي ومن شعره (نفسي فداء على)، وأبو الطفيل الكناني ومن شعره (على خير البشر)، وقيس بن عمر النجاشي ومن شعره (انصر خير راكب وماش)، والحضين بن المنذر ومن شعره (شعار أمير المؤمنين)، وعياض الثمالي ومن شعره (إن عليا خير من وطئ الثرى) وبشر بن منقذ الشني ومن شعره (أبا حسن أنت شمس النهار) وغيرهم الكثير الكثير من أصحابه ومحبيه، وكل ذلك بغضا له وانتقاما لضربه رقاب آبائهم الذين واجهوا الدين الحنيف مواجهة شرسة كادت تنهي الدين الإسلامي وتودي بحياة النبي الأكرم صلى الله عليه وآله. وإن شاعرنا العظيم أبو الهيثم مالك بن التيهان- المتوفي سنة 37هـ هو الشاعر الآخر من سلسلة هؤلاء الشعراء الأشاوس الذين أرادت القوى الحاقدة طمس أثره، وتضييع ذكره وشعره، لذلك لم نجد ما يروي الغليل من ترجمته التي ضيعتها أيادي الحقد، وسيرته التي أخفتها مخالب الحسد ولم يظهر منها إلا القليل وكل ذلك لا لشيء إلا لأنه كان من خلص أصحاب الإمام أمير المؤمنين على بن أبي طالب عليه السلام وممن وقف بوجه الظلم لإحقاق حقه عليه السلام ولكن من هذا القليل سيخرج الكثير بعونه تعالى.

When discussing the literature of the Islamic era with deep research about its characteristics and poetry, the researcher finds that many poets and poetry disappeared and great names were obliterated. This was not a spontaneous matter, but was motivated by the belief, and since the ruling authorities and governments throughout the ages was the one that directed the writers of history and the authors of books which contained the names of different levels of poets, writers, jurists and scholars, the Umayyad and Abbasid governments did their best to hide the names of everyone who wrote and all that written about the virtues of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali ibn Abi Talib (PBUH), as much as they could, like the poetry of: Kardoos bin Hani Al-Bakri and of his poetry "We accepted him alive and dead", Al-Harith bin Nadhr Al-Sahmi and of his poetry "Do not see the lion again", Abdullah bin Abdulrahman and of his poetry "A lion in the battlefield", Qais bin Sa'd bin Abd bin Obadah and of his poetry "Jibrael is our supporter", Saeed bin Qais Al-Hamdani and of his poetry "Hamdan will support you", Khuzaymah bin Thabit and of his poetry "Whoever disobey him is faithless", Abdulrahman bin Hanbal Al-Jumahi and of his poetry "I am sacrifice for Ali", Abultufail Al-Kanani and of his poetry "Ali is the best human", Qais bin Omar Al-Najashi and of his poetry "support the best creation", Alhadhin bin Munther and of his poetry "Amiralmoemnin's slogan", Ayyadh Al-Thumali and of his poetry "Ali is the best creation on Earth", Bishr bin Munqeth Al-Shanni and of his poetry "O' Aba Hasan you are the sun of the day", and more others out of hatred for him and in revenge for his killing of their fathers who faced the true religion in a fierce confrontation that almost ended the religion of Islam and took the life of the Prophet (may God’s prayers be upon him and his family). Accordingly, this great poet, Abul-Haytham, Malik bin Al-Tayhan, who died in the year 37 AH. is the second poet of those brave poets whom the governments wanted to obliterate his poetry, so we did not find much narrations of his biography. Admittedly, this loss of narrations about him and his life is because of his love for Ali ibn Abi-Taleb (PBUH) and the fact that he was one of his close companions.
