المستخلص: بالنظر إلى المتغيرات التي مر بها العالم، منذ ظهور فيروس كورونا وانتشاره بين جميع الدول، ظهرت تداعياته الاقتصادية والاجتماعية على معظم اقتصادات العالم، بما في ذلك مصر. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إلقاء الضوء على تأثير وباء كورونا على الاقتصاد المصري، من خلال تحليل واقع طبيعة المتغيرات الاقتصادية الخارجية، وكذلك التعامل مع مؤشرات الاقتصاد الكلي. فضلا عن التعرض بالتفصيل لمختلف السياسات الاقتصادية والتدابير التي اتخذتها الحكومة المصرية في مواجهة تداعيات وباء كورونا. تستخدم الدراسة منهجية محددة تعتمد على التحليل الوصفي والاستقرائي لمؤشرات ميزان المدفوعات وتشمل (السياحة، التجارة الدولية، الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر، تحويلات العمال، إيرادات قناة السويس، ميزان المدفوعات). وذلك لتسليط الضوء على تداعيات وباء كورونا على أداء الاقتصاد المصري نتيجة علاقاته الاقتصادية مع العالم الخارجي. وكذلك تحليل مؤشرات الاقتصاد الكلي الداخلية مثل (معدلات نمو الناتج المحلي الإجمالي، والبطالة وسوق العمل، ومعدل التضخم، وأسعار الصرف، والموازنة العامة، وحجم الدين العام). وذلك لتسليط الضوء على تداعيات وباء كورونا على أداء الاقتصاد المصري. توصلت الدراسة إلى بعض النتائج أهمها:  التغيرات الاقتصادية الخارجية الناتجة عن علاقات مصر بدول العالم الخارجي كانت الأكثر تضررا من وباء كورونا وخاصة السياحة والتجارة الدولية.  بالرغم من تأثير وباء كورونا على الأداء الداخلي للاقتصاد المصري، إلا أنه تمكن من الحفاظ على معدل نمو اقتصادي إيجابي بنسبة 3.6% بنهاية عام 2020. وانحصر التأثير في الموازنة العامة المصرية، مع الأخذ في الاعتبار ارتفاع مخصصاتها. الإنفاق على قطاع الصحة والتعليم وإجراءات الحماية الاجتماعية.  ساهم تنويع هيكل الاقتصاد المصري بشكل كبير في مواجهة الأزمة، وكذلك نتائج برنامج الإصلاح الاقتصادي الذي بدأته الحكومة المصرية في عام 2016 قبل أزمة فيروس كورونا. إضافة إلى ذلك، فإن طبيعة السياسات والإجراءات التي اتخذتها مصر لمواجهة تداعيات الوباء على الاقتصاد، كل ذلك ساهم في التخفيف من آثار أزمة وباء كورونا على الاقتصاد المصري.

Considering the world’s changes, since the emergence of the Coronavirus and its spread among all countries, its economic and social repercussions have appeared in most of the world’s economies, including Egypt. This study aims to shed light on the impact of the Corona epidemic on the Egyptian economy, by analyzing the reality of the nature of external economic variables and dealing with macroeconomic indicators. As well as exposure in detail to the various economic policies and measures taken by the Egyptian government in the face of the repercussions of the Corona epidemic. The study uses a specific methodology based on a descriptive and inductive analysis of the balance of payments indicators and includes (tourism, international trade, foreign direct investment, worker’s remittances, Suez Canal revenues, and the balance of payments). This is to highlight the repercussions of the Corona epidemic on the performance of the Egyptian economy resulting from its economic relations with the outside world. As well as analyzing internal macroeconomic indicators such as (GDP growth rates, unemployment and the labor market, inflation rate, exchange rates, the general budget, and the size of public debt); This is to highlight the repercussions of the Corona epidemic on the performance of the Egyptian economy. The study reached a few results, the most important of which are: - The external economic changes resulting from Egypt’s relations with the countries of the outside world, were the most affected by the Corona epidemic, especially tourism and international trade. - Despite the impact of the Corona epidemic on the internal performance of the Egyptian economy, it managed to maintain a positive economic growth rate of 3.6 % by the end of 2020. The impact was limited to the Egyptian public budget, considering its higher allocations for spending on the health sector, education, and social protection measures. - The diversification of the structure of the Egyptian economy contributed significantly to facing the crisis, as well as the results of the economic reform program that the Egyptian government started in 2016 before the Coronavirus crisis. In addition to this, the nature of the policies and measures taken by Egypt to confront the repercussions of the epidemic on the economy, all of this has contributed to mitigating the effects of the Corona epidemic crisis on the Egyptian economy.
