المستخلص: عندما يتعلق الأمر بالكتاب الإيطاليين يتبادر إلى الذهن مؤلف يهتم بثقافته أعماله في التيارات التي طورتها إيطاليا وأغنتها عبر الزمن، ففي شخصية ألبيرتو مورافيا لا نجد حب الأدب الإيطالي فحسب، بل نجد أيضا- جمال الأدب الآسيوي والإفريقي؛ وذلك نتيجة أسفاره الدائمة، وميله إلى فضول معرفة كل ما هو بعيد ومختلف. نشأ شغف البيرتو مورافيا في الشرق الأوسط في عام ۱۹۳۵م، باختصار، يمثل عمل مورافيا لحظة من الحوار الثقافي والأدبي بين العالمين العربي والأوروبي، ويؤثر بشكل كبير على خلق رواية جديدة مبتكرة في الثقافات والمناطق الأخرى من العالم أيضا، ويظهر تأثيره على الأدب العالمي بالقيمة العالمية والدائمة لعمله. وفي نهاية المطاف، كانت قدرة مورافيا على التقاط تعقيدات النفس البشرية أمرا أساسيا في النجاح الكبير الذي حققته أعماله في العالم العربي، إذ تولي الثقافة العربية اهتماما كبيرا لبواطن الإنسان وفهم مشاعره وأفكاره. وبهذا المعنى، فإن عمل مورافيا، الذي يتميز بالاستكشاف المتعمق للاستبطان الشخصي والمشكلات الوجودية، قد لاقى استجابة كبيرة من الجمهور العربي. وقد ساعد وجود موضوعات عالمية على تعزيز الاهتمام بأعمال مورافيا في العالم العربي. إذ إن الصراع من أجل الهوية والاستبطان الشخصي من المواضيع التي لها أهمية كبيرة في الثقافة العربية، وغالبا ما تعتبر مجالا للصراع الذي يكون فيه فهم الذات ضروريا. وبهذا المعنى، استطاع مورافيا أن يوفر فرصة للتأمل المفيد للجمهور العربي. مثلت مورافيا شكلا من أشكال التبادل الثقافي بين العالمين العربي والأوروبي، مما أتاح للقراء العرب فرصة التواصل مع شكل من أشكال التعبير الفني والثقافي المختلف عنهم.

In the character of Alberto Moravia we don't only find a love of Italian literature, but also find the beauty of Asian and African literature. This is the result of his constant travels, and his tendency to be curious about everything that is far and different. Alberto Moravia’s passion for the Middle East arose in 1935 AD. In short, Moravia’s work represents a moment of cultural and literary dialogue between the Arab and European worlds, a matter that largely influences the creation of innovative new narratives in other cultures and regions of the world – as well – and His works tackle global issues that constanly reflect on world literature Ultimately, Moravia’s ability to capture the complexities of the human psyche was fundamental to the great success of his works in the Arab world, as Arab culture Pays a great attention to man’s unconscious and the study of his thoughts and feelings. In this sense, Moravia’s work, which is characterized by an in-depth exploration of personal introspection and existential problems, has received a great response from the Arab audience. The presence of universal themes helped foster interest in Moravian works in the Arab world. The struggle for identity and personal introspection are topics of great importance in Arab culture, and are often considered an area of struggle in which self-understanding is necessary. In this sense, Moravia was able to provide an opportunity for useful reflection for the Arab audience. Moravia represented a form of cultural exchange between the Arab and European worlds, giving Arab readers the opportunity to connect with a form of artistic and cultural expressions different from their own.

Quando si parla di scrittori italiani, viene in mente un autore che dona nelle sue opere l’interesse per la propria cultura, per le correnti che nel tempo l’Italia ha sviluppato e arricchito. Nella figura di Alberto Moravia non troviamo soltanto l’amore per la letteratura italiana ma anche la bellezza delle letterature asiatica e africana. Ciò è il frutto dei suoi continui viaggi e della sua propensione per la curiosità di conoscere ciò che è lontano e diverso. Come nasce questo interesse per questa cultura? La passione di Alberto Moravia per il Medio Oriente ha origine nel 1953, quando si reca nelle città di Gerusalemme, Aleppo, Homs, Beirut, Palmira e Damasco, e continua viaggiando in Egitto, Iran, Yemen, Libia e Tunisia, Kabul, Marocco. Attraversò il Sahara da Tunisi ad Agadez, si recò in Arabia e in Iran, poi nuovamente in Yemen e in Siria. Successivamente nel 1967 si recò in Giordania, poi a Baghdad fino al confine tra Iraq e Iran Ciò permette di capire che i viaggi di Moravia in queste terre sono stati molteplici, segno della grande bellezza che lui vedeva in questi luoghi e nelle persone che le abitano. In questo lavorosi parlerà di Alberto Moravia e della sua capacità, attraverso la scrittura, di rendere vicini due mondi così lontani. Si è cercato di risaltare la figura di Alberto Moravia nel mondo arabo, iniziando dalla sua biografia, infatti la parte introduttiva è stata dedicata alla presentazione della vita dello scrittore e delle sue opere. Come si avrà modo di notare, quella di Moravia è stata un'esistenza molto movimentata e in alcuni momenti assai difficoltosa; basti pensare alla sua infanzia segnata dalla grave malattia che gli impedì di fare molte cose. Tuttavia, la sua passione per la scrittura non venne meno e giovanissimo pubblicò il suo primo romanzo.La produzione di Moravia, come si vedrà, è vastissima e comprende opere di vario genere dal romanzo, al racconto, alla novella, al saggio, al testo teatrale, al reportage fino al racconto di viaggio. Alberto Moravia è considerato uno degli scrittori più significativi della letteratura italiana e con il presente lavoro si è cercato di porre l'attenzione sul modo in cui lo scrittoreha saputo raccontare personaggi tra loro molto diversi. La peculiarità dell'autore è quella di esser riuscito a rappresentare il cosmo umano nei suoi aspetti più profondi, intimi e nascosti. Il tutto è stato determinato dalle sue influenze esistenzialiste, marxiste e soprattutto dal suo grande interesse e dalla sua ammirazione nei confronti del mondo.Grazie al suo contributo oggi disponiamo di una vasta letteratura che ci permette di capire quella che è stata la condizione della vita italiana nel XX secolo.
