المستخلص: هدف المقال التُعرف إلى درجة ممارسة مديري المدارس الحكومية لمبادئ الحوكمة في مديرية التربية والتعليم للواء قصبة مادبا من وجهة نظر المعلمين تبعا لمتغيرات النوع الاجتماعي، المؤهل العلمي وسنوات الخبرة، حيث استخدم المنهج الوصفي التحليلي منهجا للدراسة، وتم تطوير استبانة الحوكمة والتي تكونت من (24) فقرة موزعة على (4) مبادئ للحوكمة (سيادة القانون، النزاهة، الاستدامة، المساءلة)، وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع المعلمين والمعلمات في مديرية التربية والتعليم للواء قصبة مادبا والبالغ عددهم (1728) معلما ومعلمة وبلغ حجم عينة الدراسة (325)، وكان عدد الذكور (130) معلما وعدد الإناث (195)، وقد تم اختيار العينة بالطريقة العشوائية الطبقية وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن درجة ممارسة مديري المدارس الحكومية لمبادئ الحوكمة في مديرية التربية والتعليم للواء قصبة مادبا من وجهة نظر المعلمين مرتفعة، وكان مبدأ سيادة القانون بالمرتبة الأولى بمتوسط حسابي (3.46) وانحراف معياري (0.59) وبدرجة مرتفعة، ثم مبدأ النزاهة ويليه مبدأ الاستدامة، وكان بالمرتبة الأخيرة مبدأ المساءلة بمتوسط حسابي (2.55) وانحراف معياري (0.33) وبدرجة منخفضة.

The article aimed to identify the degree of public-school principals’ practicing of the principles of governance in the Directorate of Education of the Kasbah of Madaba from the point of view of teachers according to the variables of gender, educational qualification, and years of experience. As a tool for the study where a questionnaire was developed that included (24) paragraphs divided into (4) principles of governance: the rule of law, integrity, sustainability, and accountability. And their validity and reliability were confirmed, as the study community consisted of all male and female teachers, whose number was (1728) male and female teachers, as the study sample consisted of (325). While the number of males was (130) teachers, the number of females was (195). Also, the sample was chosen in a stratified random way, and the study found that the degree of public school principals practicing the principles of governance in the Directorate of Education of the Kasbah of Madaba from the point of view of teachers is high, and the principle of the rule of law ranked first with an arithmetic average (3.46) and a standard deviation (0.59), where the principle of the rule of law came in the first place with an arithmetic mean (3.88) and a standard deviation (0.88) to a high degree. Then, the principle of integrity was followed by the principle of sustainability, and which ranked first. The latter is the principle of accountability with an arithmetic mean (2.55) and a standard deviation (0.33) with a low degree.
