المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى إبراز أثر التراث الحضاري المصري على الحبشة في العصور الوسطى، وبيان فضل هذا التراث في رقى الأحباش وتحضرهم من نواحي عدة، من خلال تأثرهم بحضارة مصر وشعبها، حيث ارتبطت الحبشة بمصر، وجمعت بينهما كثير من الروابط والعلاقات الدينية والتاريخية والسياسية، علاوة على رابط نهر النيل الرباني، غير أنه لم تكن العلاقات ودية بصفة مستمرة بين البلدين، حيث شهدت بعض الأزمات الدينية والتاريخية، وحاول بعض ملوك الحبشة حلها بواسطة التهديد والتلويح ببناء سد لحجب المياه عن مصر، لتحقيق مطالبهم وآمالهم باعتقادهم أنهم المسئولون عن نبع مياه نهر النيل لمصر، مما تسبب في نشأة أزمة السد خلال بعض الحقبات التاريخية في العصور الوسطى، التي لها صدى واضح فيما يحدث اليوم. وتأتى أهمية هذا البحث؛ من خلال الوقوف على أثر التراث الحضاري المصري على الحبشة، والذي نتج عن العلاقات الكثيرة التي جمعت بين البلدين، وإلقاء الضوء على نواحي دينية وأدبية وثقافية واجتماعية وتجارية، وكذلك أثرية. ليستدل من خلالها، على أثر هذا التراث العظيم في رحاب الحضارة المصرية على التراث الحبشي، في ظل بعض الأزمات بين البلدين من خلال مصادر حبشية.

This research aims to highlight the impact of Egyptian civilization on Ethiopia in the Middle Ages, and to show the merit of this heritage in the development and civilization of the Ethiopians in several ways, through their influence by the civilization of Egypt and its people. Ethiopia was linked to Egypt, and many religious, historical, and political ties and relations were gathered between them, in addition to the link of the Nile River. However, relations were not always friendly between the two countries, as they witnessed some religious and historical crises. Some Ethiopian kings tried to solve them by threatening and hinting at building a dam to block water from Egypt for achieve their demands and aspirations, believing that they were responsible for the source of the Nile River water for Egypt. This caused the emergence of the dam crisis during some historical periods in the Middle Ages, which has a clear echo in what is happening today. The importance of this research comes from examining the impact of Egyptian civilization on Ethiopia, which resulted from the many relations that gathered between the two countries, and shedding light on religious, literary, social, commercial, and archaeological aspects. Through them, it can be concluded the impact of this great heritage in the bosom of Egyptian civilization on the Ethiopian heritage in light of some crises between the two countries, which did not affect Ethiopia's benefit from the culture, heritage, and civilization of Egypt through Ethiopian sources.
