المستخلص: مما لا شك فيه أن معرفة أحكام الشريعة والعلم بها من الأمور الضرورية التي لا يسع المسلمون جهلها؛ حتى تمكنهم من أداء ما فرض الله عليهم على علم وهدى وبصيرة، وذلك عن طريق معرفة أحكام الدين والعناية به؛ مما جعل لعلماء الشريعة مكانة عالية لا تطاولها مكانة، وآثارا متنوعة على الفرد والمجتمع ككل، ومن هذه الآثار الأثر الثقافي على الفرد والمجتمع. وهذا ما يتناوله موضوع هذا البحث، الذي هو بعنوان: "علماء الشريعة وأثرهم الثقافي على الفرد والمجتمع". وقد اشتمل هذا البحث على مقدمة وفيها: أهمية البحث وأسباب اختياره وأسئلته وأهم الدراسات السابقة التي تناولته، وتمهيد وفيه التعريف بمفردات عنوان البحث وثلاثة مباحث، تناول المبحث الأول مكانة علماء الشريعة وحقوقهم ومهامهم في ضوء الإسلام، وذلك من خلال ثلاثة مطالب، ثم تناول المبحث الثاني تعليم الناس الشريعة؛ حكمه والحكمة منه وشروطه، وذلك في ثلاثة مطالب، ثم تناول المبحث الثالث أثر علماء الشريعة الثقافي على الفرد والمجتمع، وذلك في مطلبين. واختتم البحث بخاتمة اشتملت على أهم النتائج والتوصيات.

There is no doubt that knowledge of the provisions of Islamic Shariah is a necessity that no Muslim can ignore. Indeed, such knowledge is indispensable for a Muslim to be able to knowledgeably and insightfully perform the religious rituals imposed thereupon by almighty Allah. It is for that specific reason that whoever acquires such knowledge assumes a lofty status that those who didn’t seek this type of knowledge can’t aspire to reach. Attaining such knowledge, however, will not only have a beneficial impact upon the individual but also upon the community at large. The impact of such knowledge is mainly cultural, and its reach extends beyond the mere individual to involve society as a whole. It is this unique impact that prompted this researcher to choose this topic as a subject for this research paper, entitled “Shariah scholars and their cultural impact of upon the individual and upon society”. This research paper consists of an introduction, containing the significance of this research, the reasons for choosing this topic as a research subject, the research problems, and the previous studies which addressed the same topic, a preface, which contains an overview of the research title vocabulary, and three chapters of which the first chapter addresses the lofty status, rights, and duties of shariah scholars under the Islamic faith over three themes, the second chapter addresses how to educate the people on Islamic shariah, the provisions and the rationale thereof as well as the conditions therefor over three themes, while the third chapter addresses the cultural impact of scholars upon the individual and the community over two themes. The conclusion of the research contains the key results and recommendations.
