المستخلص: يهدف هذا البحث إلى تناول البعد الذاتي من المقاصد في علاقتها بالتفسير، الذي يعبر عنه البحث بمصطلح "مقاصد المفسر". فرغم تزايد العناية بالمقاصد عامة ومقاصد القرآن والتفسير خاصة، فإن مقاصد المفسر كانت أقل أنواع المقاصد عناية؛ نظرا لعناية العلماء بالجوانب المعيارية المتعلقة بالتفسير، سعيا منهم إلى تقنين عملية التفسير، وطرح الجوانب الذاتية التي تمثل خروجا عن الهدف الأول من التفسير وهو فهم مقاصد القرآن وبيانها. وانطلاقا من هذا الهدف يبدأ البحث بتناول مصطلح المقاصد في رؤية تاريخية وبيان مفهومه اللغوي والاصطلاحي، ثم ينتقل إلى مصطلح المقاصد بين القرآن والتفسير عبر مجموعة من المصطلحات المرتبطة بهما، وببيان خصوصية كل من هذه المصطلحات لا سيما مصطلحي "مقاصد التفسير" و"مقاصد المفسر"؛ لما بينهما من تداخل وخلط أدى إلى عدم وضوح الحدود الفاصلة بينهما. ويختتم البحث ببيان طبيعة العلاقة بين المقاصد والاجتهاد. ويعتمد هذا البحث على الدراسة المصطلحية التي تعنى بالأبعاد التاريخية والمعجمية والتداولية للمصطلح بهدف تقديم فهم نظري متسق مع الواقع التطبيقي للنصوص.

This research aims to address the subjective dimension of objectives in relation to interpretation ,which the research expresses by the term "the purposes of the interpreter". Despite the increased attention to the purposes in general ,the purposes of the Qur’an and the interpretation in particular ,for the purposes of the exegete were the least important types of purposes. As a result of the scholars’ interest in the normative aspects related to interpretation ,they sought to codify the process of interpretation ,and to exclude the subjective aspects that represent a departure from the first objective of interpretation ,which is to understand and clarify the purposes of the Qur’an. Based on this goal ,the research begins by addressing the term "purposes" in a chronological approach and stating its linguistic and idiomatic concept ,then turns to the term "purposes" between the Qur’an and interpretation through a set of terms associated with them; to stating the specificity of each of these terms ,especially the terms "the purposes of interpretation" and "the purposes of the interpreter". Because of the overlap and confusion between them that led to the blurred boundaries between them. The research concludes with a statement of the type of the relationship between purposes and diligence. This research relies on the terminological study that deals with the chronological ,lexical and pragmatic dimensions of the term in order to provide a theoretical understanding consistent with the applied reality of the texts.
